Retekess PR 15 Small Pocket Radio - Great little pocket radio!
Great little pocket size radio! I just received the Retekess PR15 small pocket AM/FM/Weather radio. This radio has a great narrow band, so you only hear the AM or FM station you are tuned-in (Other AM/FM radios bleed in other nearby station frequencies out of the receiver into the speaker - bad filtering!). This radio has a small speaker (while many small radios nowadays offer only earplug jacks), but the receiver circuit and speaker gives crisp sound for music and talking (News, Weather 162 MHz band). It is not a stereo (twin speakers) FM radio, but sounds pretty darn good anyway! The receiver picks up many stations and is now one of my better AM/FM/Weather radios. 24Jan2024 UPDATE: I just bought a set of 8 new re-chargable AAA batteries (from Amazon) for cost savings with this PR15 radio, which gives me plenty of charged backup AAA batteries when away from home. I do the same (AA re-chargable batteries) for my small ham radios and devices. 26Jan2024

Awesome Little Radio and Great Customer Service
***Note: Nobody paid nor given me anything for writing this review.***The only other radio I own is a Tecsun r9012 and wanted something that was even smaller to keep in my pack for hikes. The AM band picked up every local station in my area (Phoenix) during the day, and was able to pick up stations over 800 miles away (Dallas TX and Lexington NE) after the sun went down. I live in an apartment complex with a lot of variables that cause interference, but this little radio doesn't seem to miss a beat! The speaker is loud. The sound quality is what you would expect from a radio the size of an altoids tin. It's more of a luxury just to have one on something so small. The FM band works well and the headphone jack will double as an antenna which is a nice touch. I was surprised to see a radio with weatherband in this price point, and it does what it's supposed to. I will probably buy more for friends and family.Update: Got a hold of their customer service team after having problems with the reciever. They responded fast, and were able to send out a new one within a few days! I still give this radio 5 starsfor its price, ease of use, and portability. Their customer service department deserves 5 stars as well!

Nice little pocket radio
This radio about the size of a deck of cards.Good build quality.Does everything pretty well but struggles a bit on fm reception. But the radio sounds good esp on fm with my panasonic headphones.Pulls in the am and noaa weather band stations.I can get all three of my Noaa weather stations all from 20 to 40 miles away.--------My AM emergency alert system stations two both 130 miles away. But on Fm it just could not pull in fringe stations some of my other radios can.Overall nice.Happy with it

Perfect Size for Walking
I purchased this because of the size. I was looking for a small radio to take with me when I go walking. This easily fits into the pocket of my jacket so I can easily listen to the radio hands free without an ear piece when I am walking. The signal strength is fine. I live in a suburb of New York City and have no problems getting my usual stations.Since the radio is small, you have to move the tuning dial very slowly to get your station. I did this with similar radios when I was young so this was not a big deal for me, but it might take some getting accustomed to if you've never used a radio like this.I have only used the radio a few times but so far I am very pleased.

Great radio for it's size and price.
It's rare that I give a 5 star review on a product, but I'm giving it to this one. This is a great radio for its size and price. Great sensitivity on both AM and FM bands, with the added bonus of the NOAA weather band included. Not too many confusing buttons, and the battery compartment door is attached so you don't lose it when changing the battery. Headphone jack. A red light that lets you know it's on. Makes a great radio for an elderly person, and a good emergency radio in general, provided you have a good supply of AAA batteries. And a nice stocking stuffer for Christmas. What's not to love?

I laughed myself silly!
I knew this radio was small, but I didn't pay attention to how really small. I opened the mailer it came in and pulled out the smallest battery operated radio I have ever seen. I literally laughed outloud. The radio is okay. I won't send it back. I'm keeping it for the novelty if for no other reason. Reception on all three bands requires some fine tuning. I bought it for the weather band. I don't really care about the AM and FM bands. It picks up a weather tower about 20 miles away from me easily. Two other towers 35 miles away and 70 miles away come in somewhat okay, better at night than in the daytime.

Small, lightweight and clear. used for WB.
Used this in Quetico Provincial Park close to US border to pick up forecast on weather band out of Grand Marais. First time using tech to check on weather for week long trip. Was able to move travel time around bad weather. Very helpful. Needed to extend antenna and hold tip of antenna to pick up signal with good clarity. Was able to also pick up WTIP.
