Easy to install, even though I did have a friend who knows about these things. but only took him five minutes and it is still working good

This updated board solved my no inducer motor function after verifying the motor and capacitor were good. The supplied inducer motor extension cable connectors will not fit, but in almost all cases it is not necessary because the existing cable is long enough and retains a small amount of slack.It is very advantageous to take a photo of the thermostat and air conditioning connections at the board And reference the photo for wire designations as they are not in the same physical locations as the original board make sure you connect where designated as line to the L1 position. All DIP switch switches appear to be in the proper positions from the factory. Make sure you wait a few minutes after powering up the control board if you have a smart thermostat before you think the board is malfunctioning. It takes that long for thermostat micro processor to boot up. Functionally the board seems to be a perfect replacement for the previous design.

The board was the OEM board, so I can't fault the vendor - it was exactly what it said it was. However, there is an extension wiring harness in the box and that is necessary to use to go from the wiring in the furnace to plug into the new board, as the connection point on the revised board is in a different place.The harness has the appropriate male-female plastic connectors to join to the furnace wiring, however, the pins are male-male, meaning that it's impossible to plug them together. I had to cut and solder extensions into the original furnace harness to enable it to work. The board works, so that's why I gave it 4 stars, but they should have caught the basic error in the harness.Again, not an error on the part of the vendor, but the manufacturer as it isn't plug and play as it should be.

The board is a little bit different in design, but in the way that it's been improved. After some research, Dip switch settings were good for me at factory setting. Furnace is back to life. :D

Installed this board and it did not last even one day. Board is junk. Had to buy another one from a local supplier and that one worked fine.
