Excited to give to my grandsons
It appears to be just why I wanted for them. How it holds up is TBD. BUT I think they will love it anyway . I hope it will hold together for them.

Good solar system for kids
I bought this for my grandson. He had one just like it for several years and it broke. The only thing I did different was to use fishing line to tie them on found it worked better then what was provided.

The string tore easily. There are no hooks
The string tore easily. There are no hooks. The planets are hard to put together. Even for a mom. There wasn't even enough string to put it together and the planets kept falling off. It didn't glow in the dark. Took me an hour to put together. Looked horrid. Child couldn't help at all. Child threw in the trash. Big disappointment and I bought two. Waste of money. I was going to sell my extra kit but couldn't in good conscious.

What a hassle
I bought this for my 1st grader, I ended up building it as The holes weren't punched all the way through trying to attach everything was rather difficult. 2 plants were ripped in the process. It got built but isn't very impressive the attachment pieces it hangs from are flimsy and hang down from the weight of the planets. We used it briefly as a learning tool. I never got it to glow. I wish i would have bough something else for our lesson on the solar system I wouldn't recommend or give to someone else not worth the value.

Cheap and flimsy, no way a child could do this
I purchased for my 8 year old and I to do together. The bubbles were impossible to get throug the cardboard slit, and even I ended up tearing the little cardboard tabs so I had to tape them just to get them assembled, mobile straws are flimsy and pegs won’t stay in the end. D see trying is slippery and won’t stayed tied. Son ended up watching a cartoon while I put together. Was frustrating for even me.

String sucks, instructions useless
Looks cool, but the strings are slippery so they don't stay tied, had to actually glue them to stay. Instructions are very vague, could definitely be more clear about everything.
