Fit my 2023 Ram crew cab just right. The item was well packed and there was no damage. Free shipping took seven days to arrive from shipping date during Amazon Prime days. Very reasonable. The instructions say step 1 is to clean the paint off the posts with a wire brush. After doing this to the first two sets of posts I stopped. There were no problems with installing on the posts that I didn’t brush. So, it’s up to you. Easy to install, took me about an hour and a half of actual install time. Not including breaks due to hot weather and wire brushing the posts. It takes a little time to properly align the boards on the brackets but it’s not difficult. Once I had them where I wanted I tightened the middle set of bolts first. They are adjustable as to how far out from your truck you want them. One piece of aluminum and lighter than I expected but they appear very sturdy and make it easy getting in and out of my truck. No plastic caps to lose either. A nice set of running boards for a reasonable price. I’d recommend them.

I was very pleased with the product for the price. Based on the product pics, I had the impression that the cross section was more of an "L" shape. It turns out that the steps are a full box section extrusion with capped ends.Having said that, there were some nicks and scuffs from manufacturing and handling (disappointing) though you're going to get those eventually from daily wear. I suggest a little more attention to quality control.Everything fits as advertised. The directions state that the factory studs may have paint on them (they do) and that you would have to chase the threads (running an M8 nut or die down the length of each stud). Note: DO NOT USE THE LOCKING NUTS PROVIDED. They will no longer be usable locking nuts and you could easily strip the nuts or studs. I used a wire brush attachment on a drill.*******************The real issue is the fact that the mounting brackets are about 2" too short! The steps end up tucked under the outer sill rendering almost half of the 5" step unusable. I'm considering making 6 adapter plates so that I can shift the steps outboard by 2". Please let me know if you revise the mounting brackets.*******************Suggestion: A set of steps that are 6" longer would be ideal to extend beyond the cab and allow access to the back window and front portion of the bed.

Exactly what I wanted. These look perfect on my black appearance package 2019 Ram 1500 Crew Cab. I went with the 5” step. In retrospect, 6” would not have looked out of place, but 5” looks very good. It’s not a wide step, but it’s enough and at 5” it is just flush with the outer dimensions of the truck. The length could not have been more perfect. The reason for the four stars is twofold. First, there is a slight flex outward when stepping in the front or rear portions. Not a big deal, but not perfect. Second, one of my steps had a large dent on the underside. The dent is one visible once installed and does not interfere with anything functionally... but I’d prefer it weren’t there.One side note: because of how the mounting bolts are set up in my truck, it is impossible to set the rear of the three brackets at just the same position. No one would notice, not without a measuring tape, but it bothered me a little at first. Not the fault of the product - just the way the bolts are on the truck. Again, not really an issue functionally or aesthetically, just thought I’d share the observation. Overall, a recommend these.

Good price

Needed a step for my truck and this one was perfect. Low profile, good looking and sturdy. One of my favorite features is that It hides the brackets so you don't see that gap between the step and body. Easy to install in about 45 minutes. If you have a right angle driver for your drill this will save lots of ratcheting. Update free 3 months: would not recommend. After 3 months the shine is gone from the ends and the coating is flaking.

These arrived super fast and they’re priced great. Installation was t too bad and they seem pretty sturdy and look good on my truck. The biggest issue I had was that one of the boards arrived with multiple dents. Most of them were on the under side so not an issue in my opinion. One however, is on the end of the board and is very visible.

Easy to install. Took only an hour and I took my time. I recommend buying the 6 inch width boards. They look good and provide the best step. Also previous reviews recommended buying a few M8 nuts from the hardware store prior to install. I did this and was glad I did. I put them on the studs first to strip the factory paint off the threads. Then I ended up using one to finish the install as one of lock nuts that was sent with kit stripped when I was tightening it.
