NO MOUNTING BRACKET
I just think its lame i buy the guards and i dont get what i need to install them on my bike...you think youre getting a deal then you have have to buy the mounting bracket for 30 more dollars..so shady. Bought the mounting kit bc it would be easier then the return process. I just need people to know that. Cant speak on the actual quality of product until the mounting bracket shows up...but quality seems good.

PowerMadd handlebar covers
Great product. Everything seems to be built well for the money. Installation on the Yamaha wasn’t too bad but will require some cutting and filing to remove welded manufacture tabs that do not effect performance whatsoever. I also purchased the mirrors which are nice as well!

Awesome product
Easy to mount, looks great, quality seems good. Adjustments to allow shifting the deflector side to side with spacers. Would buy again! Make sure if you need to mount so it goes up and over master brake cylinder to order the Hayes kit not the normal mounting kit.

Good for dual sport bad race set up
I want to like these Hand guards so bad.But for enduro Racing and hare scrambles they just fall short. Love the looks and work well for dual sport riding. But when you’re bashing through the bushes and trees at race speeds they break. I used them with their bar end connector. Only one small screw holds them. It will pull through the screw and flap around. One small tip over and it broke the mount. So I’ll use on y dual sport bike but on my race bike I’ll use the cycra bark busters

Simple to install and they do great at protecting my hands from the wind
Simple to install and they do great at protecting my hands from the wind, and hopefully to protect from a collision. People that are docking stars because they didn't realize you needed the mounting kit.... it says right in the description you need the kit!!!! My son also like these because they look pretty cool on the handlebars, lol. Liked them so much we have put them on all of our ATV's.

Best Looking Hand Guards (IMO)
Yes...you need to buy the mounting kit separately. But look at the bright side, when you crash...and you will...it will be cheaper to just replace the guard or the bracket and not both. Still, at $65 for both is a fair price. They look killer and they will take a crash...trust me...lol With all of the colors to match any bike, they are an awesome accessory.

Great design and decent functionality
I highly modified these to put them on a 2006 Yamaha Roadliner to try and block the cold winter air. I'm not going to review that part since I used the product for a vehicle that it was not intended to go on. I'm rating the product based on look, feel and quality but will throw my experience in there as well. These hand guards look sharp. The first thing they do is grab your attention because of the sharp curves, bold look and bigger size. It took some adjusting on my custom project to actually block the wind and the hand guards have to be fairly close to my hands (touching my clutch and brake lever) to block any wind. They will surely stop smaller rocks and debris but thick tree branches and other heavy items would most likely bend or deal some sort of damage since they are plastic. The guards contour the hand very nicely and cover them from top to bottom when installed properly. The only thing I would ask the company to review is the part that the guard itself mounts to the bracket. There are two prongs that slide into a sort of rail that keeps the guards from tilting up or down. It's a decent design that keeps them stable at speed but limits the adjustments you can make.I made these work in a situation that they weren't supposed to and they are a very nice touch. If there was an adapter for different size handlebars, they would surely corner the market for cruisers and sport touring bikes.I'm taking a star away for lack of adjustment points. This is a great product and I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a sleek design with a practical backing to it. If you have experience in part modification (specifically the handlebar or mirror mounting points) I would say go for it. I did and it turned out great.

Comfort & Installation Details
I bought a set of these a couple months ago and they have been great. I haven’t rode much with them but have used them on another quad. They are good for protecting your hands from branches/twigs/briars. They also give good air flow to the hands and phalanges so you don’t get too sweaty and lose grip. Can cover the air vents for winter so your hands don’t get as cold. Installation was a little rough for the first one. Instructions tell you to break off the tab on the side of the throttle, but I didn’t want to do that so I just moved it over a little bit toward the outside and then moved the break over toward the inside. Second one went on very easily. You will want to have your own tools.
