Seth Thomas Trademark Clock Winding Key Double End #6/0000

i purchased this key for a seth thomas american made antique mantle clock. I have the original somewhere but was unable to locate it. I was giving the clock as a wedding present. After several attempts to find it i was unable. Was considering going to an antique shop to try to find one. I thought amazon has EVERYTHING you could possibly need,so i did a search on antique winding keys for clocks,this site was the first to pop up. Based on this sellers detailed information about what clocks the key would fit,i decided to go for it. At the time i did not know if my clock was american made or german made as her description was quite precise about it not fitting german made clocks. The price was very reasonable so i thought i could return it need be. The key came in the time frame promised. When i got home that evening,I took clock out looked to see that it was in fact american made and the key fit PERFECTLY. Even the smaller end(which adjusts setting if clock runs fast or slow) fit PERFECTLY !! I thought it was dumb luck on my part, but it was really based on sellers detailed information of key description that was spot on. The key is made of high quality brass and very sturdy. It is as sturdy as the original key was and is a perfect match to the clock. HELLO GENIUS !! There literally is nothing you can't find on amazon !! I'm hooked.

Good quality. Key was a bit tight on one of the posts for winding the clock. Do not know if it is the clock or the key,

Both ends fit my Seth Thomas Adamantine mantel clock 295, with movement "4 1/2" (an early version of the 89C).

Doesn't fit. Tried to return but can't get a mailing label. Dialogue says that it will be emailed. It wasn't.Also key received does not match photo. Photo shows decorative tooling on barrel, and this key is very plain like the one I purchased from China that broke after 5 years.
