TP-Link Tl-R470T+ Single_Band Load Balance Broadband Business Router with Up to 4 Wan Ports, Pppoe Server, Advanced Qos and Strong Firewall

All, Couple of thoughts, I would like to share on this product.1. Excellent Product, but needs basic to intermediate level networking knowledge to customize to your requirement. GUI is very easy to use for standard load balancing algorithms. in my case i have a high-speed internet connect and a 4G+ router, so i need my 4G+ connect to be used only when my primary connect goes down due to latency and pile size. but I was not able to configure that with standard options.I used policy based routing to get this setup and removed all the load balancing rules i created.2. Bad Supplier - i had to order this and return and order again. twice I had to order and both the times i got broken box, first time the device and items inside the box was haphazard - i was sure it was used product. Amazon need to take of these issue - i had no patience 2nd time to send it back and wait for 2 more days - so I accepted the product. i have Pics if you need

First, I reall wished to buy a gigabit WAN router for future proofing but all ISPs commonly have a 100mbps max connection speed. My home of office LAN is all with gigabit Ethernet.This router is well made, solid metal build. Setup was a breeze. I'm using this with one static IP connection & the second with a PPPoE ISP. With load balancing that helps bandwidth aggregation. Works well without any packet loss.Recieved a newly made product dated April 2019 V6.0 but firmware updates ended until June 2018.Will post a follow up review a month later.Update: (June 2020) a year later.....Recently recieved a 2020 firmware update last month. Router has been very functional and link aggregation has been working great. I've been using Airtel xstream, ACT Fibernet & Excell broadband with different protocols each like DHCP, PPPoE & Static IP configurations. Only drawback is that the link speed limit is only 100mbps which isn't helpful for future use if I get a faster internet plan ( 50+40+40mbps currently).I can recommend this router for internet users who don't have current plans of not greater than 25-40mbps.

TP-Link ER605 (TL-R605) | Multi-WAN Wired Single_Band 1000 Mbps VPN Router. I reviewed it. it is good. i have configured it. i found it easy. i recommend it to all.

Took me 15 minutes to update it & set it up but I have been doing this for last 30 years for a living. Would be tough for a novice to setup but again it's categorised as a Business solution.The interface is a little confusing & slow but manageable.One major problem is the very long restart/reboot time. Takes about 5 minutes to start. So it needs a UPS otherwise you would keep on waiting for 5 minutes after the power is restored. Very long reboot time for a Business solution.Another minus is that it's not rack mountable. A business solution must meet this minimum criteria.

Do not buy this product if you are looking for reliable dual wan router or failover switch.This is a crappy product it keeps dropping my active WAN connection even when it’s connected and when it’s actually disconnected the failover does not work, as per official support the backup WAN will start in 2mins but even if you wait for 20mins the router does not detect and switch. So avoid this at all cost.

The devices works like charm with 2 Isp i got. I was worried my office vpn will give me an issue.. But fortunately its application based load balancer. So vpn stays on one isp. (I'm guessing). Haven't faced and disconnection issues yet.Anyone looking to have uninterrupted internet connection and double speed only on certain traffic. This is a perfect router.This is how I connected:Isp 1 + Isp2 > load balancer router > my old netgear wifi router> all devices.Setup will not be easy for layman. You need a bit of network understanding. However many youtube videos are available.Please keep in mind, this is not a wifi router.Update: VPN works on on default settings of the router, that is load balancing based on applications, if load balancing is set without any condition it doesn't work but rest of the internet works fine.. Hope this info helps!

The product is nice and setup was straightforward. However, it only supported 100mbps which was not mentioned anywhere in the product description. I have a 200mbps connection and hence this was not useful for me.

É preciso gerir bem, mas é um equipamento bem funcional e melhor que a geração anterior (10/100)

Fue facil de instalar y trabaja muy bien y fue a muy bajo costo me ahorrro comprar un equipo mucho mas caro
