A great tool for what I needed
Unlike the previous and only review, I had very few issues using the unit to install my new oil seals. The seals fit perfectly with a little bit of play. On a side note, I use a little bit of permatex on the outer ring of the seal for added insurance. The tool works well if you are a one man army or don't have 3 foot long arms to center the seal while hammering it in. One thing that was difficult was telling when the seal was completely sat. I had to do each side several times to get them set. It is difficult to tell when they are pressed all the way in. One side started spinning once it was set but the other side did not. Since you can't see the edges of the seal with the tool in place it makes it a necessity to remove the tool to check the depth. You can tell they are set correctly when you see a tiny bit of metal between the axle tube and where the pumkin are pressed together. When I use permatex the gap gets filled with a small ring of sealant but you can still see the metal when they are all the way back in there. I had to do each side 3 times to make sure they were flush. Take your time on this, double check to make sure you don't have to redo this as the task is simple but the steps to get to it are many. A great tool for what I needed, one person tool, no need for additional hands makes it worth the price even with the bit of hassle. Oh yeah, MADE IN THE USA!... So, 5 beautiful American stars.

If using on Dana 30, also get a 1 3/8" 3/4" drive socket.
As there are no reviews for this tool, I thought that I might share my experiences with using it. I purchased this tool in order to make what seems to be a two person job, into something I could do by myself on my High Pinion Dana 30 axle. Upon receiving the tool, I immediately recognized that neither side fit inside the "lip" of the axle seal, although it fit on the tip of the "lip". I thought this would work and after disassembling my housing I attempted to use it. The tool kept sliding to one side of the seal, due to not having a way of centering itself, and ended up damaging the seal (which I didn't realize until after I reassembled and refilled my axle). This was quite disappointing on a tool that cost $100, and the time to install these seals. At first I thought it may just be the Timken seals, so before I reattempt to install new seals I took the tool to my local auto parts stores and test fit National seals, which didn't fit either. While I was there I found a 1 3/8" socket (3/4 drive) that fit pretty nicely AND I could use on the base of this tool. I do wonder if I had a Dana 44 or 60 if the tool would have worked better. Sorry for the long winded review.***UPDATE***I ended up doing my axle seals again yesterday after rushing to complete a ball joint replacement and compromising one of the old seals. I used Spicer axle seals and the tool worked flawlessly. I now think that it really matters which seals you get, I'd urge people to get the Spicer seals as this tool works well with them (Timken and National not so much).

Great tool, solidly built, but for Yukon seals only.
Great tool, heavy duty and a good design. It doesn't fit the Crown and Timken style seals well at all, and I destroyed a few trying to install them. I ordered the Yukon seals, and it fit them perfectly, and had them installed in a few minutes, when I was fighting with homemade installers for weeks.

Fit is universal and thus sloppy
I was going to use this on the inner axle seal of a 2nd Gen Ram D44 front, but was not thrilled with how it interfaces with the seal. If the seal binds up it could just dent or blow through the metal casing. I understand what they were going for, but the fit is mediocre at best. I wound machining my own cups and pulling the seal in, which you'll have to do anyway on the RH axle tube in the CAD opening.I'm keeping the tool because it could be useful in other applications, but overall I wouldn't recommend it

the perfect tool to do it right the first time.
Forget trying to install inner axle seals without this tool. Let's be honest, you just pulled the hub bearings, axle shafts and the carrier out, spend the money for this tool and install the new seals like a pro.I bought this for a dana 44 in my Jeep and it saved me so much heart ache after stripping the guts out. After all the work of just getting to them I would hate to accidently damage one or not get it just right. You won't know until it's all back together and full of fluid and wouldn't that be fun, doing it all over again. In the long run if you are the person doing their own inner seals, buy this tool and spend more time on the trail and less time half assing repairs.

Highly useful tool for a great price
You really need this tool for doing those Jeep axle seals. This was the best price I found so it's getting 5 stars

Works as it’s intended.
Works as advertised. Used it on an 03 wrangler D44. Solid construction.

Does not fit a Ford Dana 60 reserve direction on 96 F350 4WD as advertised.
Destroyed the first $20 inner axle differential seal. Since both sizes of the drive ends of the tool were not the correct diameter. Fixed end work as described. Needed to use a bearing press hub out of one of my other kits and a seal driver out of another kit to seat the seal in the axle hub properly on the moving end. I had only bought two seals for the rebuild, but only fixed the end that was leaking. And did not replace both seals as I was planning. Kind of frustrating that the tool did not work as advertised. I would of saved time not ordering the tool in the first place and made one myself with a fixed end driver press using my bearing kits that I had already owned. Frustrated customer.

May work on Dana 30’s
The media could not be loaded. It’s a great quality tool don’t get me wrong, but it seems to only work with select seals in regards to the Dana 30. Timkin and skf seals are much more readily available but will not sit snug inside the press of the tool which means you take a chance pushing on the very edge and damaging them. For $150 I’m a little disappointed to be honest. Be careful folks who want this to do Dana 30 seals. Make sure you have the spicer seals. Now I gotta go buy a big ol socket like another reviewer did to press these in.

Works great on oem seals.
Good tool, got the job done but it will not work on many aftermarket seals. Only oem or very similar seal can be installed using this tool. If the entire inside of the seal is rubber coated it won’t work.

Not exact but still works
Used it on an 08 F550 for the front axle seals, Dana 60 I think, the machined collar was to big to fit inside of the seal but I still got them in watching both sides. A few months later and no leaks, I think it might work even better on say a 2nd gen dodge front end
