BOSS 02505CL10 801 Neutral Cure Silicone Adhesive, Clear, 10.3-Ounce

A leak developed around a large underwater light fixture that is in my Arctic Spa hot tub. I was looking for a sealant that would work well underwater, in warm water that has disinfecting chemicals in it. I read the reviews on the Boss 801 sealant and thought I'd give it a try. I drained the water in the tub until the light was fully exposed out of the water. I cleaned the old sealant away from where the leak wasoccurring and then let the area dry for the better portion of a day. I then ran a hair dryer over it to insure all the moisture around the light was gone. I then ran a new bead of the Boss 801 sealant around the light and smoothed the bead out. This sealant is very stick and starts to set up quick so you have to work fast. I then let the sealant cure for 24 hours. Then I filled the tub back up and ran the pump and heater for a few hours as it brought the water up to the correct temperature. It has been two weeks now and the area around the light is perfectly dry. The tube of sealant says it is also very good for sealing jets that are installed in your spa.

Boss is the best.

I had some sort of lead happening in the tile of my jacuzzi. I smeared this stuff all along tile line inside jacuzzi.Dried clear cant even tell and leak seems to be fixed

I looked around, I read the reviews, I didn't want to spend the money but ultimately did and I have no leaks. Used this for its intended purpose.

Had a leak somewhere around the top of my filter housing- I just put this stuff all around the joint and let it dry. I was impressed by the adhesion and feel of the silicone after curing. No leaks so far (about a month since repair). Would definitely recommend.

This is the second product I have bought from Big Frog that from a Quality Assurance Perspective I have been very disappointed.First I bought the smaller squeeze tube.It busted open the seal on the bottom and went everywhere. Causing a mess and not being able to complete the job as I had to scoop it out and put it on by hand.So I bought the caulk gun size so I didnt have to deal with that again and it comes without the adapter.

This product was used to seal 2 jets in my hydro tub - that was leaking when we took hot showers - so far the leak has stopped and the product has stopped the leak! AMEN!
