These are the best books by far to teach with. Amazingly, I actually use the THEORY book for my adults (along with the adult-all-in-one course book) if they have no musical background because it slows down the theory so they can really understand it without feeling overwhelmed. It has really helped them and follows along with the adult book very well.

It is all coming back to me
I couldn't remember a thing about music theory when I purchased my digital piano. I bought a few different music books but this was perfect. Took me through all the basics which I had forgotten. Easy to follow. The whole series is meant to be used with a piano teacher which is why I rated one of the other books a bit lower, but this still served its purpose.

Thumbs Up!
Great book! It teaches at a consistent pace to keep the learner in something new and challenging but not pushing too hard.

Great for adult beginners!
The Faber Accelerated books for Older learners are wonderful. The pace is fast enough to be interesting for someone like me, who listens to a lot of classical and jazz music. The song selections are pretty, sometimes even beautiful -- rare in a book for beginners.
