Works on a 2007 VW Passat 2.0t
I change the oil in my ancient Passat myself, and after the most recent one, I noticed oil on the garage floor afterward. Inspection showed it was leaking out of the oil filter housing (it was not a poorly seated gasket). I concluded that the original filter housing had a broken spring inside (or something), so I bought this knock-off housing, and a new oil filter. The filter housing is a flawless copy of the original. The filter fit inside fine, and it screwed on perfectly. No more oil leak.

Fit Audi TT 2009 and possibly 2008
Cross reference stated it did not fit 2009. When i check manufacture part number and cross reference it. The unit does Fit Audi 2009 even though it is listed for 2010 and up. This part is a fraction of the price, Fit perfectly, Petty identical towards the orignal, Can't tell the difference. I did not used the o-ring that came with it, I used the o-ring from the filter. No leakCommon problem that the nut get worn and stuck.

Poorly made and leaked oil onto driveway.
I don’t recommend this item at all. After my oil change, it leaked out all of the oil from the filter onto the driveway. This item is not built with quality.

Saved my butt, and for 1/10th the price of the dealer part
I broke the stupid plastic nut while changing my oil, dealer wanted $160 and a week lead time for the part. This one worked great and arrived the next day.
