Great performance for a great price. I was gonna throw out my 10-year old premium HP ink jet printer, but then I stumbled into these great cartridges!

HP cartridges have increased 2x in price over the years and it makes no sense to buy HP ink when Smark ink can offer good quality ink for a reasonable price. I ordered Smart Ink cartridges for my HP Officejet Pro 8600. When you first install the Smart Ink cartridges you get a message that they are not HP cartridges but after this the printer works great and it does not say they are non HP. Also at one point I did have an issue where the cartridges were not recognized when printer was powered up and all I did was turn the printer off and then back on and the issues was fixed. So far my experience has been great and I will continue to order Smart Ink.

The ink works great. I haven't had any issues with quality. However, the printer is MUCH slower when using these cartridges. I have a hard time believing that isn't by design. When I try to print a document, the printer goes in to convulsions and a few minutes later it finally prints out the document. Using HP cartridges, the print is almost instantaneous. As long as you don't mind the delay, these cartridges are great. Given their price, I am ok-ish being patient.

Does not work with officejet 8600 series. Horrible, wasted my money.

This ink works great in my printer and the print quality is equal to what you would get with HP ink but at a HUGE discount. I've been running this ink now for over a month and there have been no issues with print quality, printer heads needing cleaning, or any other problems. Recommended.

Hp has gotten so ridiculous on ink cartridge prices that I felt I needed to try something else. After a good bit of research I decided to try Smart Ink and I am glad I did. The cartridges fit just fine and work great and the print quality is just fine and costs about 70% less than HP original cartridges. It came with the 3 colored ones and two blacks. My 8610 recognized that they were not “Genuine HP Cartridges” and I just hit OK on the screen and I was printing just fine. No more HP cartridges for me, I will get Smart Ink from now on and get 4-5 times the ink for the same money as I would have spent on one set of HP ink cartridges!!
