It barely has any pull both with and without the ring. I turned the ring the othe way. Nothing.Cup adheres ok to flat surface, but phone with no case slides right off.

Super strong and works well. I have it in my car and it was easy to install. Peeling a sticker and deciding where you want it is all you have to do and the sticker stays in place and doesn’t pull off when you take your phone. Very strong magnet.

It is literally amazing, but the sticky ring that connects to my phone keeps coming off which made my phone case a sticky mess. I had the phone on it upside down to get a downward shot into my slow cooker, and after about 5 mins, the phone unstuck from the metal ring which cause the phone to fall with sticky goo on it, and the magnetic ring stayed on the mount. I’m so sad because it is so cool when it actually works 😭😭. I wish I could give it the 5 stars it deserves.
