I'm a new creator and was in the search of a lightweight and convenient solution, and this fits the bill. It's extremely well-made and very secure - I can literally stick it onto any flat surface without having to worry that it might fall out. The only caveat is that it works best for *flat and smooth* surface, meaning you can't really stick it on a grainy wall. Additionally, if you film cooking videos and needed to stick this somewhere on top of the stove make sure the surface is clean and not oily, or else it will be a disaster. I bought a tripod to use in combination with this, and overall this is still a great purchase.

I have a Subaru Crosstrek, which has vertical vents—making it extremely difficult to attach any car phone holders to them. I bought at least three variations of car phone folders made for vertical vents, but none of them worked properly. This is the first car phone holder that I didn’t need to return, because it works extremely well. The bottom ring that sticks to the dashboard was the difference maker. Being able to screw the mechanism tighter on that ring was imperative too. I recently bought a MagSafe-specific case, and the phone’s stability and strength is impeccable. I really recommend this product for anyone who has a more challenging car layout.

Connects easily to any smooth surface but unfortunately the mounting ring does not swivel around so be careful to mount at the exact angle you want to view your phone from.
