I bought this item to replace a similar item made by another manufacturer. The previous item was unreliable, failing to connect automatically half the time and having to be re-set. It would also often disconnect when going over pot-holes and the USB connection was too loose in the car. This item is a massive improvement. It connects automatically every time and does not disconnect at all on bumpy roads as the USB fits very well into the USB socket in the car. It is reasonably priced compared to many other similar items on the market. The connection speed can take a few seconds, but not too long at all and I have never been inconvenienced by this. The sound quality is good and it is very easy to use. I am so pleased I bought this replacement item as it works so much better than the one I bought from a different manufacturer.

Excellent item. Solved the problem of trailing and disconnecting cables. My phone automatically connects to CarPlay even if left in a bag in the boot, which means that I am always connected to Waze to get notifications, even if I’m not specifically asking for navigation, and can still navigate using voice control. Would definitely recommend!

Plugged this in and the steps to connect were so incredibly simple. Connects automatically when in the car, I unfortunately have a few signal black spots where I live but it reconnects fast. Once connected it remembers and reconnects next time. Much easier than having leads to connect. Its design is sleek. Would definitely recommend.

I wish I’d bought this two years ago when I got my car. It’s a game changer no more plugging my phone in anymore and wires lying around looking very untidy. With this product simply plug it in pair it with your phone and bingo there it is apple carplay and it connects every time you turn on your ignition. I Love it.

Ordered this item for my VW.Stays slotted into the USB CarPlay port.No issues and works well. Sometimes can lag but not because of fault only due to connections from Device and display control on the car system itself. Nothing is faulty and can not fault this product at all. Top selling item speaks for itself.

Bought two of these dongles. Had to return one as it stopped connecting to the car and phone within a few days. So far the other one is still connecting ok.

My new car has Apple CarPlay but my phone needed to be plugged in every time to use it, this was fine for a long journey but hardly worth it for a short trip.
