Replaced dimmed headlight on a 2014 Volt
Replaced very dim halogen bulbs on a 2014 Chevy Volt. I had to rotate the LED by one notch clockwise looking from the front by sliding the silicone gasket off to expose two philip screws. Removing the screws, rotate by one notch clokwise and tightening the screws in new position allow the light patterns to emerge from the headlight reflector from position 3 and 9 o’clocks as LED manual suggests. This LED does not have cooling fan so it has the same height as original halogen allowing the dust cap of the light to be reinstalled/reused. Without the dust cap there is a risk of debris entering the light assembly ruining the reflector mechanism. This car operates the high beam by solenoid activated reflector from the same halogen or LED bulb. There is only one bulb for both normal and high beam. Without fan and inside enclosed headlight it remains to be seen how long this bulb will last. This bulb is also not DOT approved. But I checked the light pattern and it did not blind incoming driver on opposing lane. It also does not emit bluish and flickering light seen on aftermarket LED bulbs. So I think it is ok. The vendor probably does not want to spend money and go through hoops of getting DOT approval for such low cost LED replacement. I will report back when this LED bulb fails. Please check out the picture after LED replacement. The car looks more modern now without yellowish hallogen lights.

Considerably brighter than the old lights. Fit 2014 Rav4 perfectly.

Does not work in 2014 Jeep Cherokee.
Does not work in 2014 Jeep Cherokee headlights system. Will only flash on for a second or two then turns off. Installed the supplied adapter from manufacturer and will turn on low beams only. High beam will only stay on for about 5 seconds then again lamp turns off. Had to remove and reinstalled original light bulbs.

Not as bright as i expected

Great bulb
I have been using them for 2 months now. So far so good. Lighting is excellent and no dead spots. I actually stopped using my fog lights because these are bright enough. Also not one person high beamed me because the have a great cut off so they don't shine in passing cars eyes. Would highly recommend. I am just not sure of how long they will last. So far so good.

Doesn’t work for Jeep Cherokee
It doesn’t work for high or low beams like stated in the description where it says it’s fits a so & so year, make & model number. It did not work.
