I don't own this company. The cookies are scrumptious, and if wheat is a danger to you, don't eat them. Cheery bye!

If you go to the company website, it states “dutched cocoa powder wafer creme cookies” I looked up Dutched cocoa powder & this is what I found but for further details, you may want to write the company & ask. One Tablespoon of regular cocoa has 12mg of caffeine but less caffeine & nutrients for “dutched” as in these cookies. Copied the below information from google search by “reference” site. “Lower caffeine levels can be found in unsweetened cocoa powder processed with alkali, a product that contains 4 milligrams of caffeine per tablespoon. Alkali treatment is also referred to as the Dutching process, a technique that darkens cocoa while reducing its bitterness and increasing its ability to disperse in various media.
