Well built, great graphics and sound. Easy to type on and also edit videos
The media could not be loaded. I am a Mum of 3 who isn't very tech savvy. But I needed a new laptop to edit videos, to use Microsoft teams for video meetings, to use Microsoft word and make PowerPoint presentations. After doing lots of research, I bought this laptop 3 months ago. I like how sturdy it is and how easy it is to use. It has a good battery life and the laptop quality is great. They keyboard feels great to type on and there is enough room for your wrists without them landing on the touch pad. I wanted a screen of this size to watch movies and the graphics are fantastic. I am surprised at how good the sound is too and how loud it can get. The screen quality is good too and there isn't much glare, even with light coming from outside from behind. I use it for several hours a day and it is still very speedy. The only thing I am unhappy with, is how much it can heat up. It usually happens when I am editing and making a video. I need to buy a little table for it when using on my lap, because that causes it to heat up more too for example when I am watching a movie. The fan can be a bit noisy when that happens too. Overall, I really like it and hope it last a long time. The camera quality is very good too. I like it has 3 USB Ports and a bonus for me, is the full SD card port. I wanted this for easy when taking the card out from my camera. I don't need to buy micro SD cards and then the full size to insert in my camera.

Great replacement if you need a laptop with Windows11 to replace an older Windows 10 computer
Well made, nice feeling keyboard, mouse pad gets some getting used to, old pad with seperate left and right buttons was more straight forward. Performance seems good as is battery life. Good replacement if looking to upgrade due to Windows 10 losing support later on this year. Sound is also pretty good for a laptop.

Issues to consider
Good value, but: There is NO ethernet port with this Dell laptop so if you need one then don't buy. With Windows 11 updates to drivers, the screen will blank and fan race. The only way to progress is power off and on so Windows 11 updates proceed the use Dell driver updates.

Superb.
After researching the market and doing my homework, I decided on a Dell, It had what I needed, plus it came down in price in the black Friday sales which made it a no brainer, its well-made back-lit keyboard \SD card slot, instant start up, and silent running,, and all the safety features you need, a fast Ryzen 7 processor and AMD Redeon graphics,1 TB of SSD. and more than enough RAM to get the job done. I used it for Video/photo editing, and it breezes through any task. it feels and looks a premium product . Buy with confidence.

Fantastic student laptop
Great performance, not experienced any lag yet even on battery mode, can have many windows and desktops open no problem, light and portable with 5+ hour battery life and rarely makes any noise - perfect.Beautifully convenient.Fits in smaller bags.Been using it for a month now and can’t think of anything negative. Haven’t gamed on it but it’ll probably do a decent job for more casual games.

What a ghastly piece of kit, and company too. Avoid.
I spent money I couldn’t afford to this month, to leave Dell as a customer after (on and off) 20 years. This experience was beyond infuriating.I bought this laptop six weeks ago. About a month ago, I dropped it from a fairly short height (the seat of a chair) and the screen shattered. I was quoted the cost of just about the price of buying the laptop new, for a technician to repair it. I reached out to their corporate team, to see if there was any sort of compromise that could be made. I was upfront about the fact I caused this issue, but questioned the high cost of repairing it. I had a separate quote for the part itself - indeed, about four/five times the cost of acquiring it from anywhere else. Accupart, when given the service tag of the machine, sent me a screen. Completely incompatible, sent it back and reinstalled the broken screen.Found the exact part online, directly from the manufacturer. Exact part number. Bought it, installed it, it worked then never turned on again after that and I’m afraid that doesn’t really work for me. £400 plus, wasted. If you sell a machine with parts that are flimsy (yeah, the screen shouldn’t have done that with such a small knock), you shouldn’t make them incompatible with replacement parts and you shouldn’t quote a value that essentially forces your customer into risking the whole device on a new bit from Accupart or eBay.The hinges are weak, the thing occasionally wouldn’t turn on even before the screen issues and the battery life is absolutely terrible. And of course, expect to budget for a brand new replacement the moment something goes wrong.Lenovo alternative arriving on Monday. Don’t make the same mistake I made.

I think I'm in love
I can now play Diablo IV in bed! I can die happy. While my main reason for buying this device was to play games, it also serves as an excellent general-use laptop. I had an old i7 with an outdated NVIDIA graphics card that barely supported Diablo IV.Unfortunately, that desktop is on its last legs and mainly functions as a file server for my family, who all use laptops. This new laptop is a fantastic budget-friendly gaming choice and meets my needs for more straightforward tasks like running Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.Additionally, I connected my recently purchased external Blu-Ray reader/writer via the USB-C port and successfully backed up my data. I've also used the drive to watch movies, and I must say, the screen is not just great for gaming; movies look and sound fantastic on this device! The McAfee security software included is easy to remove. Thank heavens! I prefer to stick with Microsoft Defender, as it's much less intrusive and has never let me down. I always keep my NordVPN on, and with the built-in Microsoft Defender, I feel secure. There is no need for bloatware. The included MyDell software is an unintrusive way to keep your laptop's drivers up to date. It also provides links to customise your audio, colour, or power settings. It is an improvement from my experience with Dell over twenty years ago. They are so user-friendly now!
