Bought to take to the beach for an old dog who loves going to the beach.. It's actually makes enough shade for the kids as well...The usual beach parasols are too long to be transported on the train along with everything else we need.. This umbrella ( so solid and great quality) is a fabulous alternative.. together with a Bike umbrella holder clipped on the pushchair ( it does "Flop " a bit but nothing that can't be propped up with everything we to hand ..

An excellent umbrella although not used yet, folds to a nice compact style with a strong spring, not quite full size golf umbrella but a happy medium

Cheap and effective. The fact you can open it with a button is the great, however unlike most others it also allows you to close it with the same button which is great for my elderly Mom.It works great and feels sturdy and it's great value for money.

I was very pleased to receive the Victoper Umbrella, It is of large diameter which i great for keeping the rain off. The umbrella stood up against some strong wind and rain, one click on the handle and it pops open quickly. The only reason it lost a star is because i had a bit of a battle to close it, the umbrella canopy itself closes nicely, its the click into the handle that was difficult. This may be because its new so will update if i see an improvement.

I own large golf umbrellas and also a smaller automatic umbrella. This Victoper umbrella bridges the gap between those perfectly.The umbrella when folded up is very compact indeed and fits inside a bag or backpack with no fuss. To open it and ready for action, you only need to loosen the velcro fastening and press the automatic button on the handle. This is the same process as my small umbrella and common to a lot these days so was not unfamiliar to me. It opens up really quickly so if you get caught in a sudden downpour then you will be covered quickly. To close up you only need to press the button again then push the shaft down to reduce it to it's smallest size again for storage.In use and when holding, you just need to be careful not to inadvertently press the button or you could get a nasty surprise! As the umbrella is a double-canopy design, this effectively creates a vent that will combat stronger winds and make the umbrella resistant to blowing inside out.The umbrella is reasonably lightweight to hold, even for lengthy periods of time, and has proven to be reliably waterproof.This is an excellent umbrella that is very good value for money and recommended.
