This paper was a pleasant surprise, and it has become a favorite, especially when trying experimental techniques, as the price (currently a little over 13 cents a page) is very nice. The paper's thickness (140 lb) makes it sturdy & it holds up even with heavy use of water without buckling. Its cold-press texture is perfect for my purposes, but if you’re looking for smooth paper, this might not be the paper for you.While small, 5x7 size is ideal for experimenting with new techniques or creating smaller works, and even postcards or bookmarks and it's perfect for artists at any level—whether you're a beginner, a student, or a more seasoned painter. It’s also great for kids who are just starting to explore watercolor. The affordable price, at roughly 13 cents per sheet, takes the stress out of trying new things since there’s no worry about wasting expensive paper.One downside is that the paper is not well-packaged, despite which my paper arrived in great condition, so buyer beware. (It came enclosed in a cellophane sleeve inside a box.)Overall, the performance of this watercolor paper exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. I recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable, high-quality watercolor paper in a relatively small size.

These 5x7 pieces are very toothy, more "rough" than "cold press" - but behaved very well under a lot of water. I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality for this excellent price.Treat them like you'd watercolor on any extra texture-y surface and I think you'll like them, too. They're absorbent.At 20 cents a sheet, I will never fret over the cost and just release myself to try things!

This watercolor paper is thick enough to hold water very well. It also has a grainy texture, which I appreciate. In addition, the paper performed excellently when I layered colors. The 5" x 7" size is perfect for trying out my ideas before moving onto larger sheets of paper. Overall, I'm really pleased with this paper.
