I purchased a different set but before it arrived I knew it wasn’t going to work on my truck, so I ordered a different set but the first set was much cheaper so hen it arrived I tried to use it but I couldn’t get a vacuum suction to hold, and I had to give up, I was already behind and had things to do. So, I took it to a shop to ave the work done. So by the time the second one arrived, it had already been done. So without even opening that box, I put in for a return to Amazon

Everything works…has to add a seal (thicker) to stop a leak on the new cap other than that it’s good

I still like to do as much of the maintenance on my personal vehicles as I can.  Especially routine maintenance like fluid services.  With newer cars that have sealed coolant systems, pressure testing the system is almost a must when servicing the cooling system.  This 28 piece kit covers a wide range of vehicles.  Pressure testing a cooling system is quick and easy.  I did have one small issue.  The adapter I needed to use came with two O-rings installed in the first and last of 3 grooves.  In order to get a proper seal on my expansion tank, I needed to move one of the O-rings to the middle groove (see picture) to line up with the system cap.  I am actually looking forward to my next cooling service so I can use the vacuum purge and fill function.  The quality of the kit seems to be pretty decent and should last a home mechanic many years.  Combined with the large selection of adapters, this kit is well worth the investment.

Kit arrives in a pretty big plastic case, the case seems more durable then other cases in it's price range. 1/4 of the adapters were loose when opening the case. With frequent use, I can see the case not holding on to adapters as well as it currently does.Comes with a page of instructions and what brands the adapters work for.Some adapters have some minor defects. For example one looks like someone accidently had the adapter touch a hot surface and make some grooves/cuts, then was filled in with plastic. Some pieces look a little used with black marks.The pump and manifold/gauge appear to be made well enough for a hobbyist who works on multiple cars. Looks to be a pretty comprehensive set, so you probably won't need to buy extra attachments.Some improvements for next version:- Change the label on the case to mention what the case contains vs the brand name- Laminate the instructions.

This is a pretty comprehensive set that everyone that works on cooling systems will appreciate. It allows both pressure testing of a cooling system and efficient re-filling using vacuum.I’d locate it on the upper end of DIY / lower end of professional use quality.For me this set has a lot of things going for it:- The set of adapters is pretty comprehensive and will cover most anything- It includes a hand pump and a setup to use shop air- It can be used for both pressure testing and vacuum-refill- The build quality feels decent (even though it is still mostly plastic)- The case is far above average, efficiently designed and solidly built with metal hinges and claspsThere are a few things that could be improved, like the labeling and the instructions, but overall I think this is a solid quality set at a good price for everyone that needs to work on cooling systems a few times a year or maybe once a month.Pretty happy with it and would recommend / get again!

It can be used for leak detection in radiator caps and systems and for "burping" the cooling system to eliminate unwanted air pockets.The set also contains all the necessary accessories and fittings; however, a vacuum pump must be acquired separately to use the filling function properly.Finally, the custom case offers excellent organization, storage, and easy transport.Overall, my experience with this set has been very positive, and I highly recommend it without any reservations.

This tool is multi purpose, you can pressurize the system to find pesky leaks and also this system come with the ability to remove all air out of the system by using pressure but also allowing you to use compressed air as it bleeds off the air it allows coolant to be replaced until all air has escaped the system. It comes with an assortment of radiator caps and attachments that fit every vehicle configuration.
