Quick and Rugged RC Car!
This is my first hobby grade RC car, and also my first 1:10 scale and so far I gotta say I love it! I had bought a 1:18 scale, and it kept flipping over on it's top which was super annoying for someone who is disabled and has a sizeable surgical hernia. On top of that, one of the wheels quit engaging so it became a three wheel drive. I returned that one and after doing some research, I decided to give this X07W a shot and I'm so glad I did! This thing is super quick! I have to turn the throttle trim down a bit to control it better! LOL! Speaking of control, the oil filled shocks make a night and day difference from what I'm use to! The body retaining clips even come with a rubber clip holder that is attached to the body which is really nice! The instructions manual failed to explain some of the transmitter controls, but a quick call to HOSIM customer service resolved that! Friendly service rep as well! And the first company I have came across with a textable customer service! I have so much fun with this rig that I wish it came with two battery chargers... But for less than ten bucks, I just ordered my second! I have a rough front yard that is mostly moss and dirt, and a large gravel driveway that I run this rig in and it isn't bothered by the rough terrain in the least! I've not timed it so I could be wrong, but it feels like each battery lasts longer than the expected twenty minutes of run time. If you are an amateur like me looking for a great, fun place to start in the on land RC world, I highly recommend you start here! I have flipped this rig a few times over on it's top and it isn't phased in the least! It's built tough! The front of the shell (body) did crack, but not real bad. A little contact cement on the inside of the shell over the crack fixed it nicely. At first it seemed a bit pricey, but after extensive research I really couldn't beat the value. The fan on the ECM, oil filled shocks, rubber tires, light weight and tough body, brushless motor, metal gears and parts and all wheel drive all make the money spent totally worth it! I love how the light bar on the front blinks when the battery is getting ready to die! It gives you roughly a minute of time before the car stops allowing you to prepare for it where as a lot of RC toys just die with no warning. I do wish the foam surrounding the tire on the transmitter was a little more secure. It tends to pull halfway off sometimes during driving the car. A minor annoyance. Only other downside I can state is that I wish the drag links for the front wheels were adjustable. Looking straight down at the car from the top, the front wheels seem toed out a bit. My O.C.D. wants them completely straight. LOL! Overall, super happy with this rig!

This this runs so smooth and FAST on 2S
First time out for a full bash. Wow!!!!I will say the tires are a little skinny for on road driving, but for romping this is it!!! So smooth. Reverse to full throttle forward and not one sound. Only ran it on 2S and it was FAST!!!! Double backflip off a tree. Photos and video to come. I am going to add a fan for the motor.

5th update 11-2-2024 Gave up hope, found my own parts
Update #5 Was hoping to hear back from them. I had to find myself after months of digging and buying other brand parts to find what works for this model. I wish they would have just answered me back. I think this is a good deal rc truck! But only if the swing arms are changed.Update 4. There is no issue with changing my review once I get an answer to my problem. These metal swing arms, are not metal at all. They break almost by looking at them. I love everything about this truck. Besides the 2 false claims. SPUR GEAR is PLASTIC, and the red metal parts are a composite mix which sadly makes this a unusable truck. I want to jump and go off road. If this is breaking on pavement. So sadly after just the first week I realized that the metal swing arms that they send you and that this is made of are literally the worst thing they could have chose for this. Now maybe I just got two of ones that were manufactured somewhere that they weren't supposed to I have no idea. Because the first one I bought was so bad I bought a second one in hope of it just being wrong. That being said I don't even know what type of material was used while making these swing arms because they literally fall apart for absolutely no reason. The first one broke while I was on pavement. And when I came home to replace it the place where the wheel/dog bone pin goes Into literally broke. It just broke while putting it on. So unfortunately this is a problem because I love team hosim, I have a lot of their vehicles. I make a lot of YouTube content on the RC trucks and cars. I was super excited for this but this needs to be fixed immediately. Because you can't jump with this. You can't literally do really anything with it besides stay on a very flat surface cuz otherwise it'll break. Now the second thing I found out which is irritating is the fact that the transmission spur gear is completely plastic. It's not metal of any kind it's 100% plastic. So when you look at the way this car is built and I'm talking from the dog bones to the transmission shaft it is actually large it's amazing. But for some reason they built this truck 90% perfect. But the other 10% is so important. And another thing that bothers me is when you're trying to go anything over like 15 miles an hour the swing arms don't fit the way they're supposed to and they shake a lot so it's very difficult to keep this thing in a straight line. All of that being said if they provided a link for the updated swingarms or something's so that we can have a choice to get these things updated I would be happy. But until I get different swing arms I'm not even going to bother driving it because I have spent more time fixing this thing for doing absolutely nothing then I would care to admit. This car is almost full metal. It is highly indestructible. I bought another one and will be uploading videos on that one. I'm changing it to a full brushless system.
