Great neon-look and super bright, but odd switchback behavior
Relatively easy to install, look great when running. Lots of color/pattern options with the phone app. But the turn-signal functionality is strange: It gives priority to brakes, which means when you have the blinkers on, and you hit the brakes they both stay red, rather than one side blinking yellow and the other staying red.

Got this for the motorcycle to help drivers notice I am there.
Talk about bright wow. Even in daylight it is an eye grabber and that is what I wanted. The color options and patterns are pretty much endless. You can set it to one color or waves of color changes. The color can start changing and flow up from bottom to top or top down. It comes with a nice size American Flag already attached. The pole appears to be a fiberglass pole about 1/2 inch in diameter with a soft coiled led shoelace coiled around it from top to bottom. Then that is sealed with a thick clear shrinkwrap to keep it waterproof.It comes with a harness you have to use as it has an adapter built in to drive the Led coil. The pole is semi flexible so in highway wind will give and should be fine. I believe the flag is attached so the pole can carry the wind load the flags footprint would put on the pole in heavy wind. The threaded stud base has a quick connect just like you use on an air chuck and hose. So the base is bolted to a bracket and you can unplug the three pin and uncouple the flag in a couple seconds. There is a three pin you need to plug in to the short harness off the pole. I have a photo of the arrow on the small plug as you need to line up the arrows or you can damage the plug or unit. It comes with a small remote with a button cell or you can put the app on your phone and blue tooth to the flag. That is crazy but pretty cool. I have ordered a stout bracket to mount this in so I have no problems with mounting in high winds. The only problem with the quick connect is where do you store it if your on a motorcycle. The rod is about 3 ft long and could be quickly uncoupled if some one knows it is a quick connect. It comes packaged well and at first I thought this will no do well with constant vibrations and bending in the wind but the led coil is like a soft spagetti encapsulated in the clear heat shrink cover so I think it was well designed. I will update this review once it has miles on it in the wind. This unit runs off 12 volts DC.
