I had one of these in my first car back in the 90s. They sit on the window, slide in, and they are ready to use. The opening holds small drinks; I wouldn't put anything too tall. It’s made of flexible plastic that won’t deform in the heat, even when it hits triple digits.I know they are useful and work great. Sadly, it didn't fit my Subaru Outback’s window where I wanted it. I couldn’t slide the plastic holder between the door and the window because it has a lip to keep the glass in its rail. If I forced it in, I’m afraid after continual use I’d scratch the glass.So, I found another use for them. I’m using them to hold my baby spider plants in the garden.I’m giving these 5 stars because I know they work and because I can use them in my garden.

These are exactly what I needed for my van that only has two cupholders. On long drives, my bf always wants to have multiple drinks with him, including a soda water. These work great for him to have the soda water on the door, while his bigger bottle of water is in the main cupholder.They don't exactly fit perfect (a little too shallow for my door) but the small, stackable size means we can remove them and put them in the glove compartment when not in use.
