Works pretty good!
Used it for a big concrete job and I'd say it works pretty well! Also the arms for the extension is great!

Large float, lightweight
This is a good float size and weight overall, and not difficult to use. The pole size is comfortable to use, though the pieces are somewhat difficult to align and a bit difficult to take apart. When put together, the joints are not exactly aligned and the pole will be at a slight angle in comparison to the other, but it's not overly concerning since it still functions well enough for use.The float itself weighs in at 12 lbs 8 oz, and each pole is 1 lb 6 oz. There is no dedicated "end" pole, so you will have the quick-release buttons on the end. The quick-release is not exactly quick, as it takes a bit of effort to release the buttons and then pull the pieces apart, but still better than any type of threaded pole for this type of product. The head mechanism is usable, albeit not the smoothest, but will get the job done and is easy to clean. The single bolt has a nylon locknut for securing in place and easy removal. The float is smooth, flat and the curved ends assist with preventing overlap lines in your pour. Some minor details: The photos make this out to be extremely smooth and even shiny, but it is anything but. The holes in the head assembly are not completely open, the top side is not smooth and mine even had a part I had to file down due to a sharp anomaly. There is a hole on one end so you can hang from a nail to dry, which is nice.Overall this float is good and should stand up to a lot of use.

works good
I am not a maso, but this also isnt my first time using a float. I got this to do a patio at my house. the handles are very tight at the connections, so its a little difficult to pull apart, but aside from that, it works perfectly.

It's ok.
It's not the best quality I've ever seen...there's a lot of casting flash, and the up/down worm gear that determines the handle angle is pretty rough, but it all works, seems pretty strong, and it gets the job done. Perhaps not for pros working in the concrete field, but more for the DIY / hobbyist looking to do their own concrete work for their new pole barn or garage floor or something. Overall, it's a great value. 4 stars.

Smooth operation
This is a great tool for smoothing out concrete. It works better than any other unit that I've used in the past. It is light and compact easy to put together and take apart to store. Made of first class materials. I love the way it adjusts up and down by just turning the handle.

Solid, well-made
I'm a first-time concrete worker and plan to use this for some work in my back yard. It's a solid tool and goes together smoothly. Overall, I think this will work well for its purpose.

Well made float. Pivot to adjust angle. Sturdy handle sections.
Build QualityThe float is well made. The heady is very sturdy and has a nice coating for smoothing. The handle sections are well made and fit together well (tightly) and do not flex or wobble. The head has a good nonstick coating, is a good weight and works well at smoothing/floating.Use:The float works very well as a float -- (properly weighted / sized) The rotate to adjust angle feature allows for easy control from close and far distances.DisassemblingIt is quite difficult to separate the handle sections especially if there is concrete or gravel in them.Final thoughts:This float works well and is well made. I recommend it.
