The cleansing gel is a good cleaner and it is gentle on the skin and does a good job cleaning my face.It does foam, but not as much as a normal liquid cleaners. It feels very hydrating to the skin, and it is scent free, which I really like. My skin doesn't feel stripped or dry, but it does feel clean.

A nice gentle cleanser, leaves skin clean and good for removing makeup. Non fragranced. I wouldn't describe it as particularly 'foaming' - it's a gel consistency and when you add water, it just lathers up a little bit.There are no instructions in English on the bottle, only French and Swedish, which is a bit strange and it would be useful to have them in English.

Since I've been getting older, I found that a lot of face soaps now dry out my skin so have been trying different more expensive ones to see which suits me the best.I have quite sensitive skin and find that this doesn't irritate my skin at all. It's easy to dispense the soap and in use haven't found it to dry my skin out at all. It's unscented which I now prefer and overall I'm very happy with this and would look to get some more when this is used up. Recommended.

I enjoyed using this gentle cleanser - which did not irritate my sensitive skin. After use, I was pleased to find that my skin did not feel dry or tight (like some products) and I was left with a refreshed feeling.Simple to use - but I found no evidence of the promised 'foaming' and that I was merely moving a 'creamy' lotion around my face.I will happily continue with this cleanser, as I suspect I will gain further benefits with prolonged use.I am deducting one star purely on the basis that it didn't foam - as suggested in the promotional photos.That niggle aside, I can see that this product will offer longevity - and therefore, it offers value for money at its current price point of £15.25.I hope this helps.

The Celenes by Sweden Thermal Cleansing Foaming Gel comes in a plastic bottle with a pump dispenser allowing the user to dispense just the right amount each time. There is a cap on the pump that needs to be removed before first use. This ensures the product arrives in perfect condition with no leaks.There are no usage instructions or other information on the bottle in English, only in Swedish and French. Although my second great-grandfather was Swedish, alas I don't speak the language myself. However, here on the product description page it states to apply to damp skin, massage in and rinse gently with water.The gel is clear and is of course of a gel like consistency. It doesn't really have any kind of a fragrance to it. It does produce a light lather when rubbed into the damp face.I tend to use it at night rather than in the morning as I wear heavy makeup, and I find this gel does a super job of getting the makeup off. It also leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed before bed. I like this foaming gel very much and I'm really happy to have it as part of my nightly skincare regime. It seems to be well suited to my skin type and just the right product for me.

I can't work out why the thermal gel is such a big deal. It's like a face wash I've used before and is just as effective as the one I get from a budget high street retailer. It smells of nothing and foams up gently while applying but I wasn't blown away by a product that costs £15 and has no English anywhere on the bottle to find out how to best use it.

I have oily sensitive skin, so this was definitely meant for me! The cleanser came with a stopper lodged in the pump so you don’t have to worry about any spillage. I cleanse in the shower on already damp skin, so I find that I need to use 2-3 large pumps to get enough lather in the product. It has the consistency of a thin gel so it doesn’t lather up very strongly, however the cleansing effect is very gentle and would be suitable for sensitive skin. The skin does not feel stripped or too dry afterwards so it’s not the most powerful or abrasive cleanser. I don’t worry about makeup residue as I double cleanse, but this by itself wouldn’t be able to take off makeup well.I didn’t really enjoy how it smelled, it reminded me of some kind of hand soap and it did have that soapy-like consistency and experience. Overall it’s a quite decent option for people with oily but sensitive skin and don’t want that full stripping skin effect after use.

I like this cleanser quite a lot.Doesn't dry out my skin which is a combination one, but elderly combination.It doesn't produce big foam. It lathers and is nice to touch and spread when lathered making it easy to clean the face.The biggest bonus for me is the fact it doesn't contain any perfumes or any alcohol which used to be main ingredient for cleansers for oily or combination skin.This cleanser is free of those and also has no parabens.Being based on thermal waters - which benefits I have experienced in the past - it contains natural minerals that help reviving and hydrate the skin.I don't need a lot of it to lather so this bottle will last me for few weeks.Addition of camomile extract helps with soothing, cucumber is good for smoothing and other ingredients help with oil control.I like it.
