Yes but it is best to keep salt off concrete as best as possible. Salt will eventually eat through it. If you need to use anything sand is better than salt on your driveway.

Q: Is this a penetrating siliconate? I have been told that's the best kind.

Yes, and I have been very pleased.

Q: What do you mix it with , it is very watery

we agitated the container and then applied it with a roller. We did not mix it with anything. It went on like very thin paint, like rolling on water, it does not have much color
