Well worth it!!!
Easy to assemble, very easy to use, extremely well worth the investment, especially in our case! The mat fits twin pillowcases—much nicer than the (cheap) cover it comes with. Putting it just under the fitted sheet did the trick without wetting lots of pads etc. But it IS like sleeping on a plastic place mat😆 For princesses with aversions to peas, you could place it under a pad, but that will allow much more wetness before it is set off. Our 6 yo didn’t seem to mind sleeping on it. He was, however, a bit timid of alarms surprising him out of his sleep, so it was NICE having a vibrate only setting... He used it about a week before we noticed he would wet (& set it off) closer to 5:AM... after a couple more times of waking him ourselves, he got used to doing a bathroom run at 6, or began to hold it until he woke each morning! We began to bribe him—No wetting one night, no wee-alarm the next night! It worked after a little over one WEEK of use. Yup. We can hardly believe it ourselves! He’d rather wake himself than be awakened by any alarm. He’s been dry now for going on three weeks!!! So this hardly used pad WILL be used for his next 2 siblings soon enough (5 yo & 3 yo)...All those years of wet beds are fading in our memory! This is similar to what cured me as a kid too (tho mine was a bit more complicated & didn’t have different choices of alarms). It’s very true that our body just needs to be trained to wake itself & THIS WORKS!!! What a relief...

Malfunctioning product, terrible "customer service"
In two nights, we had 3 false alarms that woke my daughter up event hough she was completely dry. Sure this must be a defect, I called the manufacturer's customer service line. I was told that false alarms are extremely rare, but that his also could not be a defect. My options are to put additional layers between my daughter and the alarm, which could leave to the pee being absorbed and not setting off the alarm when it needs to go off or ship it back to them at my expense, wait for them to receive it, and then wait for a replacement. Really frustrated to have paid this much for a product that hasn't functioned properly for one night. Even more frustrated at the sorry excuse for customer service I experienced on this call. For my $85, I got a crappy, malfunctioning plastic mat and a daughter grumpy from being unnecessarily awakened in the night.

Garbage
This is a hard plastic sheet. My son would have to put a blanket under him just to sleep. This defeats the purpose of the liquid sensor, but it didn’t work anyway. I flooded it with the sink and it made no reaction. $106 for an uncomfortable non functioning mess. Not super happy. In fact I sent it back. This it only the second thing I’ve sent back to amazon in 5 years. Don’t waste you time

Dont waste your money
I had to get 2 of these. The first one would randomly go off 4-6 times during the night where there was no moisture whatsoever. We used the cover and also a pillowcase around it. I contacted customer service about this and told them that I poured water on it and it didn't go off when wet. They told me that it had to be warm, very salty water and has a 1 drop response. So, I took the overs off and made warm salty water to test it out. 1 drop my butt. It took almost a Tablespoon of the liquid for it to set the alarm off. Also, when it would randomly go off, it should only be up to around 30 seconds, but it would go off for 5-6 minutes. Yes we unplugged it like instructed after it goes off. I was beyond annoying. We got a second one and it worked much better. But again tested it for the "one drop response", nope. Still took way more than one drop. By then their bed would be really wet. My daughter hated using it because it was very uncomfortable. We even tried putting a towel over it or a blanket, but it was still rough/hard plastic sheet laying on.

No more bedwetting. Amazing product!!
We purchased the Smart bedside bedwetting alarm because our 8-year old daughter was bedwetting every single night of the week. She would sleep so deeply at night that she could not wake up even it a train passed by with a loud whistle let alone use the bathroom. She would soak through her pull up every night of the week and we have had this problem since she was 5. We tried various different things and times to do the night time potty training but the attempts left her anxious, upset, and sad. We even tried to limit her liquid intakes before bed time but nothing was working for her. We didn't know what to do and tried till we tried this alarm. It was our last resort and since many other things had failed, we had less hopes. This is an incredible product and it worked exactly as promised. The alarm is designed to teach child’s mind to wake up right when wetting starts to occur. When my daughter started using the alarm for first few nights she would wet the bed nightly and I had to go to her room to wake her up. By week 2 her bed wetting was incredibly diminished. By week 3 she was nearly dry every night and by week 4 her bedwetting days were over. Now no more bedwetting from last one month. She has so much more confidence, does not feel ashamed, and is so proud that she has stopped wetting the bed. Like so many others we just wonder why we didn't find this faster. it is well worth the money!!!

False Alarms & Uncomfortable
The plastic was so stiff and corners so rigid that it had to be so uncomfortable for my son. Then, the false alarms started. Sometimes it'd be 10 minutes after he went to bed. Sometimes in the middle of the night. It was so frustrating that we would end up unplugging it altogether after the 3rd false alarm of the night. It was frustrating because it also had accurate alarms so we wanted to keep using it, but after a week of being up several times throughout the night and half of them being false alarms, we have to return.

Low alarm
Item was fine except the alarm isn't loud enough to wake someone from sleep.
