Nice size, does it would should.
Not much to say about this besides it does what I need it to do. It's magnetic so I have some strong rare earth magnets that I use to hold things down and in place. It's heavy so doesn't shift around (also put magnets on the bottom). I can't say I use the rulers on the sides for precise measurements, but it's handy to have to get things roughly aligned quickly.

Good quality, does the job
New to the world of lasers so I don’t have a ton of experience, I bought this one because it seemed a good value.Came nicely packed and had the aluminum backing plate and hold down buttons.Used it today and it worked fantastic, happy I got this one.

Solid, well-built laser bed
I am new to laser engraving, but I quickly realized I needed a honeycomb laser bed to produce the best results. While I haven’t owned a laser bed like this before, this one seems to be really nice. It’s sturdy and has great fit and finish. I haven’t had a chance to see what kind of difference it makes in my laser engraving yet, but from everything I’ve read, a honeycomb laser bed is an important accessory, and I’m sure this one will function well. The only reason I’m not giving this five stars, is that the plastic hold down clips included seem much less high-quality than the bed itself. Since the bed is made out of steel and is ferrous, magnets would’ve been much better. I’ve already thrown away the included plastic pegs, and will use magnets instead. If the manufacturer had included magnetic holddowns, I would have given this five stars for sure.Still, I can thoroughly recommend this solid, well crafted, honeycomb, laser bed!

Professional upgrade option for a hobby class setup
Of all the things, I never considered using pegboard tree to hold a project in one of these. Whomever thought of that and included the pushpin are an absolute genius. You get all the base setup, bottom sheet, feet and the measured out frame of the honeycomb. The comb comes out to .9 inches thick which puts the bottom plate well out of focus for a burn. Some of us more curious would build this into an array of legs that gets more distance and a posi/neg pressure via a vacuum. But this plate is a lot more robust than a few I have played with. The measure markings are rather accurate and the overall build is really solid. Not sold? It bounced when I dropped it. Bit more than desk height at about 47 inches. Hurt my floor more than the frame. Yes, It did flex a bit out of shape and went right back when I squeezed it. Some distortions at the rivets and where the overlaps were tight. Nothing that removed the functionality of the frame, itself. Bit of an oops that I went from worrying about lost toes to LMAO.Don't drop lab level equipment.Anyway, If you have an open frame laser, put that frame over this. Add a box and call it LaserKutterPro. But a honeycomb of this grade will outlast that hobby cutter until you get into the 20+ watt range.
