If I could give this fan a 10 I would. Took this on a 3 week trip to Europe recently. Air-conditioning is not a thing in Europe in most places. This fan was a godsend on the metro n trains, while standing in lines, eating in restaurants n walking a ton of miles. The battery life was expertly lasting all day is fully charged. Very powerful fan with 5 levels. Kept it on 2 most of the time n cranked it up to 5 when in a crowd of ppl. Hung it around my neck most of the time but I was also able to hang it on my shorts or in a pocket with the 2 hooks on the fan. It also had a stand on one side of 1 of the hooks that came in handy on the 1-2 hr high-speed train trips around Europe. Again very little air conditioning even on the train. Easy to use, high performing, excellent battery life n just the right size. One small complaint, the fan was a little loud on level 5, but who cares when there is a powerful wind blowing from it while those around you are sweltering. I'm buying this fan for Christmas presents for my traveling family members.

I use the Socool fan to keep my portable oxygen concentrator (POC) cool when on the go. I haul my POC around in a small Hulken bag for convenience and ease. It just clips in the top of the bag and delivers volumes of air into the bag, it really worked well. I like the flashlight too, it helps with finding loose items in the bottom of my Hulken. My only wish would be a separate switch for the light. I used the fan for several hours and was surprised to see how little power it used, how quiet it was and how fast it recharged. Socool is just that, so cool, I see lots of uses and would recommend.

We used this when the power was out for 10 days. Battery lasts all night on a lower setting to help get air in house. Husband loves it for work so I got one for my son. Functional and can take it anywhere. Multiple output levels so can really help cool off a room. Great value for such a great gift.

Ok, have you ever needed a little breeze and there wasn't one? Now you can have that breeze anytime and anywhere. As you know that carrying a fan to do that is not a problem, however when you need both of your hands that's when this little device comes in handy. It does have five different speeds (if you are not on level five you have to go through the other levels to turn it off). I wish that you could just turn it on or off without having to go through each speed. The four stars are for how they allow the unit to be turned on or off. The casing seems to be solid and it does come with a lanyard so you can put it around your neck if you wish, but it is sold as a waist fan. I have tried it under my shirt and it does cause cool air to flow. Be careful that you do not block the air flow. The unit has a clip for the belt as well as for outer garment so that you do not accidentally block the intake for the unit. It can be a little heavy around one's neck. It also has a flashlight that will strobe SOS as well. For desk operation there is a wire stand that folds out from the body of the unit that seems to be well made. I have tried laying down on a bed to see how the air flow is directed. What I found that worked best was not to use the bracket that folds out, but instead I placed it on a pillow so that it points down on you thus allowing one to sleep with a gentle breeze blowing on you (used the lowest setting). I am planning on taking it with me on my next trip and will update this review then.

Windy blow!!!! Nice hand held/necklace/clip on fan with a lot of power. Built in light and battery back up feature is nice but that takes away from how long your fan will run if you use up your battery. Several levels of power-high will blow you away. A little noisy but not too bad. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

I bought this for my husband bc he works in the heat. This was the perfect gift for him! Keeps him cooler when he working outside in the Florida heat. My kids even want when when they go play outside lol

What a perfect match, under my sports jacket for a presentation at a podium. Little noisy on high but I think that is just me and audience has no clue. Didn't know it was an option till I started reviewing other hardware. COOL WOW
