I ordered this for camping day at my son’s school. for reference he is a size 6 but he is pretty slim. The explorer kit is well made, He loved the binoculars (they are well made and not a flimsy toy addition.)

Work well - not blurry at all. Including both macro and micro visual exploring options gives more versatility to this kit. Pack them in their backpack on your next walk to the park & ask them to see if they can spot and describe any birds they see in the trees. There are a ton of apps for bird identification, so this can become a low key activity to fill in the activity gaps while learning more about the world around them.Net, magnifying glass, tweezers, and specimen jar - All the essentials for any good bug collection activity. Plastic is thicker than some toy sets so it should stand up reasonably well - even the tweezers. Magnifying glass is clear not blurry. Net is child-sized to keep them from "catching" the neighbor's cat or their sibling's head.The list of skills this kit helps children to explore is nearly endless. A basic microscope would be a wonderful add-on to this set as it will take them from macro to micro in their exploration of the world around them.Great little set - well worth the $

It includes a nice variety of items such as magnifying glass and collection bottle. It also includes an unexpected extra - a pair of binoculars.Hat and vest included so they can feel like a "real" explorer/scientist. Encourages imaginative play by "dressing up" for their role. Polyester fabric is tear-resistant and less absorbent than cloth alternatives as exploration can get messy.Binoculars - Reasonable quality. Expand/contract to fit properly over eyes as an adult or a child. Lens were free from trapped debris or scratches. They're not meant for long distances, but that's ok. The goal is to change your child's perspective by bringing small things closer for their investigation, and this kit does that.Magnifying glass and small collection bottle let them capture beetles, ants, and the like for study. Both seem sized well for the task.Net is perhaps a bit too flexible on the upper handle. This is positive for preventing butterfly destruction, but it could lead to the handle overflexing and breaking. So far so good though so still a 5 star product.Optional extras - Providing a plastic bottle with a screw on lid (used margarine tub, peanut butter jar, etc.) with air holes punched in the top could take their exploration to the next level. Ditto for a basic outdoor identification guide.Great starter kit to encourage your kids to explore all summer long.

This is a fun set for the little bug hunter in your life. All sorts of fun accessories to catch bugs. Kids love to play dress up and this is the perfect way to do it. It’s an affordable little set for hours of fun.

Cheaply made but will get the job done for a quick school costume.

If you have an outdoor explorer, this set is great. Priced fairly and very giftable, this set includes everything needed to explore. I wish that it also had a bug specimen jar but it wasn’t a deal breaker. My little explorers are loving the hours of outside fun looking for different species to study and catch.

I love the bug-catching kit. This kit comes with all the tools your child will need to explore, observe, and study bugs. My daughter used this outside when we went camping, and it was so much fun. She caught a butterfly in the butterfly net, and then let it free. She also grabbed an ant with the included tweezers and put it inside the jar to study. She then observed the ant through her magnifying glass. She was amazed at how complex an ant is when looked at up close and personal. This was such a fun experience that promoted learning and was a great change of pace from her usual screen time.

Product arrived quickly, great quality. Accessories are of goos standard and has been durable to children to play with. Washes well too
