I just received my bottle today, so I haven't had a chance to try them. I am glad the bottle had a foil seal over the top because the lid was crooked and almost completely off the bottle. I'm a little confused on the color of the pills though. They have berberine and turmeric in them, so why aren't they yellow? I could even understand a reddish brown from the cinnamon. What I didn't expect, was a light tan/beige color.

When I first started this supplement, I decided I'd give it about 30 days before reviewing it. From a daily wellness perspective, I haven't noticed any real changes in cravings or hunger. So I decided I'd wait until after my yearly glucose/cholesterol tests to see if it had any positive or negative impact on my numbers. My glucose numbers have always been very good and I'm happy to say taking this supplement didn't change that. I can't say that it improved my numbers but things were as good or better than last year. I'm not sure I'd continue to take this as it doesn't really have enough impact on me for me to continue spending the money. My digestion, immunity, and general health haven't changed to any noticeable degree. I'd say this is probably safe but in terms of whether any of its purported benefits apply to you, you'd have to try and see how it impacts your body.

This is going to be slightly more yang heaty than normal berberine. if you're taking CoQ10, though this increase absorption if you're a TCM kinda gal.
