Great for balconies, looks neat and works very well

We installed the awning on our appartment deck and as a sun shade it works very wel. Setup wasn't very hard and installation , although tricky, wasn't a problem either. Tie down ropes would help with light breeze control, we put some on and it helps in the breezy times. Caution must be used with the ropes so the mechanisms don't get damaged.

I assembled and installed this myself. The instructions were complete but tedious because it was all pictures and the order presented wasn't logical or very clear. But, if you're good at putting things together, it all works out perfectly when you are done. Can be done by one tall person, but the final assembly installation would be much easier with two. This is good looking and works great. Since it is in the front of my apartment, several neighbors have stopped by to comment on how versatile and attractive this is. Highly recommend.

When we recieved it a few small but necessary parts were missing. I contacted the seller and Amazon and they were able to correspond well with me and get the required parts shipped DHL from the seller in China. I put it together and installed it as a shade for my wife's Orchids and plants and it works very well and she is happy. I will say the instructions were vague for me but with patience I was able to overcome that issue. The customer service from Amazon and the seller were excellent and made up for the instruction booklet and missing parts.
