Most phone holders look out of place because they are. This device met an excited my expectations. It obviously was well thought out. It snaps right in place and yes allows access for the a/c vents.

No yucky sticky stuff on the dashboard. Clean aesthetic and keeps phone still.

Poor poor poor design, Will fall off, turn the corner it falls, drive over a bump it will fall off, save your money, I could not return it fast enough, if I could give it a negative I would

This mount perfectly fit my 2015 Passat and doesn't obstruct the AC vents at all. It covers the clock but my phone's there now so not an issue.Takes a little bit of force to fit on but it feels very snug and safe. Also the clipping mechanism to the phone is strong and tactile. A very good custom car mount!

EASY TO INSTALL, AND GREAT LINE OF SIGHT

The Passat has virtually no good surfaces on which to attach a phone holder. I had one mounted on the dash above the vents, but it puts the phone in the sun and it ran hot a couple of times in the Summer. This mount puts the phone at eye level and not as far forward, so the position is perfect. Also, the phone barely blocks the A/C vents, and being near the vents helps to keep the phone cool. It was more than I thought it should cost, but I'm happy with the purchase.

There's hardly any space on the dash to attach a phone mount, but I came across this one and thought of giving it a try. The fit , looks like it should be there. The actual phone holder is secure, BUT the plate doesn't stay locked into the clock of the vehicle. And then will rattle when driving. Easy installation.It didn't work for me overall, and missed the return window. I even still have the plastic cover on it -
