This mount is great for mounting my LED whip flags at different positions so that I don't have to use a fixed mount and then use bungee cords to bend them down to get in a trailer or my garage. While these are great in a lot of ways they still have things that need improvement.1. The only threaded section on this mount uses 1/2x20 threads which are way bigger than I could use on my Tribal Whips mount. There is one hole drilled on the opposite side of the 1/2x20 threaded section that they could have made a 2nd threaded section with a 3/8x24 for people that cant make the larger 1/2x20 work for them. I hope they implement that on the next revision. To their credit they did ship me some 1/2x20 to 3/8x24 adapters. However these had issues of their own.2. The thread adapters did not thread all the way down because they were too long. I had to add a thick lock washer to give me the spacing for it to not have an ugly gap. While this was a good idea to put on anyway I think that they should have included the lock washers if they basically force you to use it.3. Once I had the adapter mounted I tried to use a short 3/8x24 bolt only to find out that the threads in the bolt hole do not go all the way down to the bottom. Because of this I had to grind down some of the 3/4" bolt to get it to clear and hold my flag mount tightly. Not a big deal but it was just irritating that I even had to do this. I dont like that there are only about 5 threads holding everything together.All in all this is a great mount but it could be sooooo much better if the original rotating mount had the 2nd set of threads. That simple change would make this so much better and they wouldn't have to spend extra money on making adapters and the cost of shipping them.
