It is NOT rechargeable. However I love this thing!! I’ve had a couple portable ones and this one is best. I would rather have this.

This is okay we'll probably work much better if you're looking for a very very light scratches on an object or are working with a very soft metal or plastic does actually pretty decent on things like the end of a screwdriver handle, however barely makes scratches the surface of harder metals. My intention was to put my initials on a pair of pliers and some other tools and this mostly wasnt up to the task

It’s a great starting tool, I didn’t want to spend to much until I good see if I could do it, but it works great! I have experimented on tin, & glass works perfect! My next one will be a little smaller so I can a better grip on it but for the price and to practice it’s great!!! My young grandson even used it!!

It has to be plugged in at all times while working it it is not rechargeable and you can use it like they show on the picture where it's not plugged into anything too too bad they lied about their product just to get it sold

It engraves perfectly the little metal signs that I bought it for.

The size is perfect and easily located on my crafting table due to the beautiful color of the pen. Charging is normal and the weight is perfect. I have used it to personalize my crafts I sell at my local farmers market

I needed to engrave my tables, so I could lend them out. On prior occasions my tables would get mixed up with others and could not be identified. After using this engraver there was no problem figuring out which tables were mine.
