Fit, Strength as stated and ease of installation.
The item works great and it functions as expected. Good strength opening and closing door. NOTE they don't come with the brackets (And they say it). I mentioned this bc some people complained about that. I had some so I had no problem. You can always use a 90o metal angle and insert the receiving bolt head.Happy with this product!

Great for a hot tub cover lift
I have a 7 person hot tub with a folding cover and a lift assembly. The previous owner had removed lift struts making lifting and lowering a bit difficult. The 60lb lift struts work perfectly for my cover.The quality seems good and the ball sockets at the ends worked as expected. Good value for the money.

low quality ball ends - they strip out
The plastic ball ends are low quality plastic. Any shock by the door will strip out the threads. Decent gas shock, but doesn't last once it gets warm.

Great product
Worked really well on the entry door on my motor home. Moderately opens this heavy door and holds it in place at 90° angle. ' 04 Monaco Windsor 40'. Will try to post photos later if I can get a good one.

Pictures are not correct
I was replacing the struts I had with stronger one. I had picked this one because the connectors were exactly the same as the ones I had nylon but when I received them they were metal and I ended up having to buy and change the brackets so that I could get it to work.

This is not 7", It measures at 8" and does not fit my cabinet.
