Overall the totem is impressive when it's lying down. But it's suppose to be vertical. It isn't even close to being stable when fastened to its base. The totem's width and length is 6.5" x 6.5" . The height is 6'2". The base is beveled. The top of the base is 5.25" x 10.75" and the bottom of the base which rests of the floor is 5.75" x 11.75". The totem overhangs the base and has to be leaned against something to remain vertical. How is a totem of this size, stable on a base this size? The answer is... it isn't. Did they send me the base for a smaller totem? The pre drilled holes for the base and totem aren't even centered! As it is, its unusable. So... off to Lowes I go and build my own base. Because of the totem's 6'2'' height, my base will be 1' x 2'. For the price I paid this is unacceptable.Review Update:The seller reached out and explained that the base is made up of 2 pieces. The wooden shipping crate arrived with the bottom of the box gone. It looks like 1 of the halves of the base fell out during transit. The seller did a great job of rectifying the problem. I'm changing my review from 2 stars to 4 stars because of the speed at which they reached out and secondly because of the solution they proposed.
