Works better
Works better than the many others I have tried, but still a lot of room for improvement. Works well for a couple days only. Very easy to use, just drop in a fresh tank. Wish it worked for longer time frame though.

Impressive!
As someone who has camped for many, many years, I’ve tried so many of these tank deodorizers. I’ve never found one to truly work. We struggled with black tank smell for awhile and stumbled upon these. I immediately ordered a pack for everyone in our camping group. They are magical! Highly recommend.

Makes for a job you don't mind doing!
Does the job! Turns the waste deep blue color. Turns solid waste into a slush. Makes the job of disposing of the waste easier to handle!

Package does not dissolve well.
I use drop ins in both my black and my grey tanks. I primarily use my grey tank for an RV stored inside of a building for odor control, so I have a very good idea how much bacteria is present in the tanks. The grey tank has plenty of bacteria in it that will get to smelling after just one day. I use a half gallon up to a gallon of vinegar when storing for extended period to kill bacteria. When in daily use, once the vinegar has been flushed and diluted I'll add a drop in. This brand of packet doesn't work well for my grey tank since the packaging doesn't dissolve well and I need it to dissolve sitting on the drain trap. I've placed them in my sink and shower drains and submerged in water repeatedly without the outer packaging dissolving enough to get the powder into the tank and cutting them open isn't a good idea since the dye stains things. They likely eventually dissolve and release the chemical in my black tank given enough liquid, but I much prefer the Camco TST Ultra-Concentrated Orange Citrus Scent RV Toilet Treatment Drop-Ins since they go to work immediately with no fuss. The Camco drop ins smell very nice and I the only need one drop in for both black and grey tank bacterial control. I see no reason to put such a heavy duty, hard to dissolve wrapper around the septic powder. Try the experiment: you can literally soak them in a glass of water for several minutes, pull them out and dry them overnight, and place them back into storage. Once I've used them all up in my black tank I won't be buying any more.
