Love & Jane: Lilly, a hopeless romantic and literary enthusiast, is surprised when her wish to talk to her favorite author comes true and Jane Austen herself appears in her life. Paging Mr. Darcy: A love of Jane Austen's stories helps two people to overcome their pride and admit to their belief in love.

Paging Mr. Darcy is really great.
I really enjoyed the second Paging Mr. Darcy. The first no so much.

Enjoyed this Jane Austen inspired duo
This is a fun set. The Darcy movie is the best written and cast of the 2 movies. Allison cries on a dime as usual in the other and deserved a better leading man.

Pride and Prejudice Austin
It's a great combination of Jane Austin's based Hallmark films.

We could only give either of these movies 4 stars
Love &Jane just didn't keep our interest as well. Paging Mr. Darcy had moments that we liked but not five star like so many recent Hallmark movies. Will donate it to our library. Someone else might like them.

So so
We all love Jane Austin, but sometimes you have to say maybe we didn't need another Jane Austin-themed movie. This set happens to have two. The first movie is about an ad editor runs a Jane Austin book club. She eventually ends up meeting a bookstore owner who happens to be her agency's client too. This movie is kind of forgettable and even though it has good actors, there wasn't much chemistry or spark to the storyline. It really feels kind of forced. The second movie is about an English professor who goes to a Jane Austin themed conference as the keynote speaker but also to get to know a professor who is in charge of a search committee at a place she is applying for a job. Along the way, she meets the professor's nephew who is spending the conference dressed up as Mr. Darcy as part of the attraction for conference goers. This one has a little more spark but still isn't super memorable. It seems like lately, Hallmark has been packaging movies into bundles and many of them are not very well done. I don't know if they are trying to crank out too many movies or what. I would say these two are not top choices unless you like Jane Austin themed movies regardless of the quality.

mediocre
Granted no one can equal Jane Austen but these attempts were pretty meh.
