bends if your book is too heavy
I bought these to hold bee books for my beekeeping club and they started bending with a very slight lean of the books. I love the aesthetic and they are perfect if you're maybe just keeping novels. Full size textbooks will ruin these pretty quickly.

These are ok. They came bent a bit. Very easy to bend because they are incredibly thin for a bookend. Cute design just very cheap material.
