GERBS Whole Pumpkin Seeds – Simple, Healthy Snacking
If you’re into clean eating, these pumpkin seeds are great. They have no added oils or flavorings, just a light touch of sea salt and full roasted flavor. Crunchy and satisfying on their own or in trail mix. A great nut-free snack option.

Horrible!
I'm 57 years old and I've been eating pumpkin seeds since I'm about 7 years old. The best seeds I ever had as a kid was Indian pumpkin seeds. They came in a Redbox and they were thick meaty pumpkin seeds. As an adult I could never find him again. Indian still makes the little bags but they're terrible small and skinny.Periodically I will buy my pumpkin seeds at different stores for $1 per bag. They're okay but nothing I would write home about.Honestly the best pumpkin seeds I can find these days are from ShopRite and they come in a big tub but they're $14 and I find that to be a little expensive. So I decided to try these pumpkin seeds considering a 2 lb bag for $24.00A little steep but I thought they would be good pumpkin seeds for that price.Today is July 7th 2024 8:30 a.m.I just got done having a handful of these pumpkin seeds. And wow! The worst pumpkin seeds I've ever had in my life. I consider myself a pumpkin seed expert so if I tell you they were terrible trust me they will terrible.Hardly no salt on them. The taste of the seat itself was bland and actually had no taste. It is true that they are large but that means nothing if the taste is terrible.I just soon found out that I cannot return them and I'm guessing because it's a food product. And that's okay I'll feed them to the birds.I really leave reviews and I feel terrible even leaving a negative review because I know small businesses depend on good reviews. But I can't back up a small business if they're making a terrible product.I'll go back to buying my pumpkin seeds at ShopRite they are very tasty and enough salt to please the pallet.Don't waste your money on these seeds because you won't be able to return them.

Bigger seeds
These are really good. Just the right amount of salt on them. Reason I didn't check all stars is because it says jumbo and these are just regular pumpkin seeds like I get out of jack-o-lantern. You need to actually use the jumbo if you advertise it that way. I have had jumbo from another company so I know the difference that way.

For Roasting, These Seem Identical to Fresh Seeds
These seem great for what they are. Of course soul like year round access to fresh seeds. Only use for roasting, then snacking. Saw others stating these seem very different from fresh. I didn't see difference; however, I only roast a certain way. First step is to boil in salted water for 10 minutes. I believe this is essential. don't think the amount of salt matters too much. I've done to up to 2TBS in pan of water. I use enough water so seeds will have plenty of room to move while boiling. I believe this is the only way to get crisp, edible shells and seeds. I let mine dry on paper towels overnight. I've seen that you don't have to do that, just get most of water off before baking. I haven't tried that. I bake at 375F for around 10-15 minutes. I use convection bake for airflow, not sure how much that matters. But 375° convection is supposed to be hotter or cook faster than normal baking. I have seen recipes for low temp baking ~325, over longer time and being so careful because the seeds will burn before shells look roasted. I don't know if the boiling step helps with this too, but I find the higher temp works good for me. (so don't think the process is overly strict or restrictive) Shells browning, seeds not burned and I don't have to test a couple of seeds every minute. Also salt and drizzle with olive oil before baking. I rub olive oil on seeds with hands. Maybe that's good for better roasting too. Hope this helps anyone nervous about trying these seeds. Here's what I would like from these manufacturers: There is an heirloom pumpkin from North America/Mexico that is grown solely for the seeds, not the flesh. It's called, Silver Edge. Because the seed has a silver edge. They are bigger and have a nice thin shell for roasting/eating. The outside is a white, small pumpkin with green vertical stripes. I was buying for its looks when the farmer mentioned he grew these because he read they were grown for the seeds. Intrigued, I researched and bought several more before and after Halloween. They were special. I would think that companies selling pumpkin seeds, would/should sell Silver Edge pumpkin seeds along with these normal seeds.

they have a bitter taste
I ordered this product a couple times, everything was good till i got last order. Seeds have a bitter taste, it's not possible to eat them. Bad thing is that you can't return it. I have to throw 50$ in trash can.

The exact words are: Best ever tasted...
These pumpkin seeds are by far the best I ever tried and would highly recommend to anyone trying to find any similar product. I come from a culture where we consume lots of nuts and seeds of all kind.In the US, it's very hard to find a place who sell these seeds which are perfectly lightly salted and roasted 👍🏻.I have been looking everywhere since our local store doesn't have any projection to amen they will have a similar product and soberly I'm glad shove they have me the opportunity the look elsewhere.I love it and I will decibel keep ordering them as long as they are available.Thank you guys.
