Excellent for my 88 year old mother!
Has been such a great addition to my care giving plan for my 88 year old mother. She can take her own showers now and feels much more independent because of this chair!

Locking seat to rails
Very sturdy and strong but the seat will not lock in to keep it from traveling up and down the rails. I contacted their support team but they were away and never returned my call

heavy duty bench shower, but!!!
this was easy to put together. the chair swivels fine, but the sliding hangs up a bit. I took a 10mm socket and hex wrench and loosen the three bolts on the four steel wheel assembly and adjusted. the sliding now works fine.

Very secure transfer into shower using this. I'd give it ten stars if I could.
I bought this when my husband became wheelchair bound and could no longer take even a few steps to get into the shower. Using this, I was able to pivot him right out of his wheelchair, onto the shower slider and then into the shower itself. The back and sides gave him something to grab onto when he felt a need to steady himself.Sadly, he only used it a twice before going into hospice, but... I took the sides and back off and use it myself now to get from my transfer chair into the shower. While I can take a few steps, I always worried about slipping while stepping out of the shower. I doubly worried once I was alone with no one to call to get help. This slider chair makes it easy for me to slide over the shower curb and have a secure footing to stand and pivot into my own transfer chair.I did save the arms and back, so they can be easily replaced if I get to the point of needing extra support while showering.

Don’t buy until seller uses better bolts
My husband just had knee surgery and we purchased and received this shower chair on December 6. Weight limit 350 pounds and my husband weighs 270. My husband has used it every day until this morning when the bolts sheared off and he fell. I tried to contact the seller and got voicemail. I will try to later today to warn them and try to update this. Tried contacting Amazon to warn them and got tied up with their automatic messaging so I gave up. This chair needs better bolts before someone gets hurt!

Looks nice and sturdy.
Bought this for my mother who has leg weakness and it is great. Love that the chair has arm rests which helps her getting up.
