The wire is stiff enough to thread and does have a nice drape. It is somewhat difficult to tie off. More like working with plastic wire.

This is my favorite bead stringing material - no kinks, nice draping, pretty color for designs that leave the wire showing. And it has been indestructible - the 19 strands of wire, coated in nylon are ideal if you want a secure piece of jewelry!

I like how this wire handles and takes crimping beads. Adds a little gold tone without creating too much bling.

Beadalon can always be counted on to help me create product that has flexibility and strength. The gold color is difficult to find and is necessary for some gemstones so that the stringing wire does not take away from the beauty of the beads.

When using it you can say goodbye to the industrial look of the metallic wire. It gives a soft, smooth finish to your bead strings, creating a look fit for a jewelry piece. Time will tell how well it holds under weight , high temperature or exposure to sun. So far, so good.That being said, I wish the price was more accesible, so I could extend the use to all my projects.
