the lens is very well worth the upgrade from the 200 to 500mm lens from the f mount. its much sharper lighter and tons faster at focusing. a little longer than the old lens. im otherwise very impressed with this lens! unfortunately its hard to get ahold of and is going to be out of stock past my dead line for the solar eclipse in april so i had to get one at the elevated price...Let me tell you the 250 dollars worth of "freebies" is crud on a stick for the most part. the only thing that would be of use to me is the polarizer and maybe the uv (glass) filter. its vivitar brand which is generally ok. but the pink filter is plastic. not that that filter would be any use to me. but why make a plastic filter? the air blaster nozzle blew across the room when used. can you all include a giottos rocket blaster instead? at least those are reliable and don't dent the lens when used.Protip: use some super glue on the air blaster nozzle if you really want to use that sorry piece of shoe leather. ;)

Big upgrade from the SIGMA 150-600mm. Nice and sharp with amazing stabilization and somewhat fast AF

Excellent lens! Love the long focal length, the internal scope is perfect! 180-600 is so useful for getting incredible photos because of the perspective alone. It is also sharp, comfortable to carry and shoot with, and the internal zoom mechanism is perfect for having consistency with weight balance which makes the heaviness of the lens less cumbersome.

This lens is an amazing value. I use it on a Z50ii, often with the TC 2.0 meaning my images are effectively 1800mm focal length. I get to watch wildlife that would otherwise be too far away to see.At the 1800mm setup it is not fast in low light, but that’s to be expected when using TC and a zoom super telephoto lens.I am able to use it handheld pretty well, but you have to be strong or use a monopod. It took me a couple photo sessions to figure out how to handhold without struggling but now I’m steady enough that VR keeps my shot tight and steady enough for the fast shutter speeds I use for birds.I ordered two lenses in one order, and this one was shipped without the free filter kit that made me choose this seller, but the seller made it right and sent the filter kit without making a fuss.

Soccer and wildlife photography is better than the 200-500 I had been using. AF is fast and internal zoom allows a big lense to stay balanced. I hand hold and could see an issue with the weight for lighter people. Debated this and several Other options. This was best for what I like to shoot. Great purchase and company shipped it quick and well packaged.
