The homca face down pillow was a life saver after my retinal detachment surgery .When the doctor told me I would have to keep my face down for a week after the surgery , i knew it would be very hard and I immediately start looking for a face down pillow to make it more comfortable.The Homca pillow is as my second purchase. I returned the first of one I bought from a different brand , because it was not comfortable at all.This pillow is the best , very well designed . It gives a lot of support to your head and neck , the fabric is extremely soft , and there is an opening that makes it easy to breath. I don’t know how I would do it without this pillow. I wish the doctors recommended this for people that like me need an eye surgery and have to keep their face down for a week. Believe me , it’s not easy .I like this pillow so much that after 6 weeks im still using it . It actually helps to sleep on your side too, which you have to do since you can’t sleep on your back . Great purchase

I purchased this pillow prior to a surgery that I had. I needed this type of pillow because I had to lay on my stomach for long periods of time. This pillow allowed me to lay on my bed in a position where I could sleep comfortably. It was easy for me to adjust the pillow and the removable extra pillow so that I can read and watch television. Because I needed to use this pillow for 4 to 6 weeks, I was very happy with the material and texture of this product and adaptability to my body. The material was of good quality and easy to clean. I like to being able to move the different parts around for different positions. I would recommend this to my friends.

I purchased this in anticipation of eye surgery. I was able to lay the cushion out for plenty of time before my surgery so that the pillow was as soft as it was going to get. Eight days of head down position just isn't comfortable no matter the pillow .. that said, this pillow allowed me to lay on my stomach with my head in the correct position so that I could get at least some sleep without rolling over. Generally, the pillow is a bit stiff, and raised high. I found that it always took a bit of moving around to make sure I was in the correct position. READ the pamphlet that comes with the pillow! It is way too easy to find yourself in the wrong position. I did appreciate the cushioning that helped to cushion my upper body. And being able to move the wings to allow more air is absolutely great ! All and all a great cushion. I use it as a back rest now !! I would have given it 5 Stars except it is pricey and a bit stiff !

I really like this. I’m having eye surgery and I think it’s going to let me sleep! I highly suggest you take the cover off and give all the pieces a wash in the machine. It has a smell and that goes away with a wash. It also softens it.

My wife just had an eye surgery and needed a special pillow to support her face down while sleeping. When I found one that rents out at $130 a week, I went to Amazon and was able to find this similar type of pillow for less cost. Once my wife started using it, she was very pleased with the comfort. The pillow is well designed: 1) firm foam pad to support on her chest and shoulders, 2) foam pad with inclined surface but not too high enough to raise her face and deep open end in the front to breathe easily, 3) added layer of cushion on top of the foam pad to provide soft and comfortable support to her face, 4) washable soft covers on both the pad and cushion. It’s well worth the price for its design, quality, and comfort.

lay face down into this bad boy.feel your back relaxa little high for my soft bed, but you can move bottom cushion out a little to adjust.Breathing hole could be bigger or something though

The cloth is very soft and works very well. My shoulders do hurt after a while but that's just the position for lying that way to long, but the product is great. The width is a good height and provides enough air flow from the bed to the head or nose area, so it doesn't feel like you're suffocating. I do have to adjust the pillow a bit to keep the Velcro from scratching my face. The wedge and the pillow are separate and are attached by Velcro. The fabric does have a zipper on the underside for remove and wash.
