My cat with a sensitive tummy loves this stuff and no vomiting
This little kibbles are perfect for automatic feeders and for finicky cats with sensitive stomachs. My kittly loves these and I don’t have to worry about upset stomach issues with this food. Excellent product!

My cat likes this after losing interest in other brand
My cat was originally having Purina hydrolyzed for a couple years. Recently she lost interest in the Purina, and I suspected it was an issue with the flavor. Switched to this and she's happily eating normally again!

I have always loved Blue Buffalo regular dry food for my cats
Vet prescribed Royal Canin hydrolized protein for my cat with pancreatic insufficiency. Most of these products use soy for their protein. I have always loved Blue Buffalo regular dry food for my cats. Blue buffalo uses salmon for their hydrolized protein. I decided to risk it in spite of bad reviews. I am writing this review because my cats love this quality product. U can read and pronounce the ingredients contained in the food. It has drastically reduced vomiting and diarrhea. I'm going to tell my vet about Blue Buffalo. My 12 year old cat had lost a lot of weight and is finally putting some back on. I highly recommend this product.

Ms.Tinker approves of the dry food only
She’s eating this hydrolyzed food which is a little less expensive than its competition.UPDATE! She is now eating this better than she did the other name-brand hydrolyzed foods. Her skin allergy is under control with this food in combination with Atopica (that I get compounded into small capsules at the pharmacy to make it taste like chicken! Costs more but she actually takes it that way, so no wasted meds or agonizing torture for her which is more important than the cost to me.)I recently ordered the canned version of this same brand of hydrolyzed cat food. Like others have said, I ALSO should have read the bad reviews! I think if I were to remove the contents of a can in one piece and drop it, it would bounce across the kitchen floor like a rubber ball. That’s what it reminds me of, rubber. I have to chop it into little pieces, smoosh it down and add water just to make it slightly resemble cat food. She will eat it in the morning if she hasn’t eaten in awhile, but only a little. In addition to this, my cat has started licking and chewing herself again ever since I gave her the first can. The whole purpose of this food is to prevent that. She was fine before this just eating the dry version! This makes me wonder what’s REALLY in this canned version.5/27/22 UpdateTink’s fur was sooo much softer while she was on the Hills Hydrolyzed diet wet/canned food, and she actually liked it. Now she’s on her third can of this brand and her fur has become rougher, AND she’s still chewing on her legs. I thought that since she liked the dry food, she would like this as well. NOPE! She will eat about a tablespoon in the morning surrounded with a moat of water around it, but only because she’s thirsty. When the water’s gone she walks away. This canned food is NOT worth the expense. She doesn’t like it, and it doesn’t help her allergies.I will keep giving it to her to get her to drink more water which she needs.Oh, yeah, this food smells more like grain fillers than actual fish. The Hills diet actually smells like it’s made with real fish. They are both expensive, but if I have to continue buying canned I will purchase the “Hills ZD Hydrolyzed canned cat food” over this brand any day.

Great food, expensive for size but comparable to other hydrolized foods....
my cats love this, didn't even need to mix with old food and they are exceptionally picky. ate th his right out of bag. 1 cat needs this, but his sister who doesn't loves it better than her regular food. if it was less expensive and came in a bigger bag, I'd feed it to both, but price and size I believe are exorbitant. will keep buying for my little guy with inflammatory bowel who needs it, but really.......

Too expensive
My cat has a food allergy and vet recommended us to use this. Seems like my cat doesn’t hate it but barely stands it. It worths the money as we don’t have another choice. Still the price is ridiculous.

Wonderful food for my special needs cat!
I got this for our cat who has food allergies and inflammatory bowel disease. This is a new product I believe. He has previously been on Hill's Z/D hydrolyzed and Royal Canin hydrolyzed. The Z/D controlled his vomiting quite well but he still had issues with constipation. He preferred the taste of the Royal Canin but continued to have vomiting while on that food. So far the Blue Buffalo has been wonderful for all of us. He loves the taste, vomiting is totally controlled and for the first time in his life his stools are normal. Very happy with the product.

My cat didn't want to eat the dry food.
My cat has had issues with pulling out his own fur. Vet suggested I try hydrolyzed food, and suggested I try Royal Canin. This was cheaper. I got it and tried to give it to him. He wouldn't eat it. I left it out and he eventually ate it, so I just kept putting it out for him. I was told it takes time to see results, so I went through two bags, probably around a third of it was wasted because he kept pulling a mouth full of it out of the bowl, putting it on the floor, eating a little of it and grabbing another mouth full. He continued pulling his fur out the entire time.I knew he didn't like it, and it didn't seem to be working, so I got a bag of Royal Canin... As soon as I gave it to him, he devoured it like he never ate before. I guess he ate so much that he went in the other room and puked, then ate more, but hasn't puked again since. He doesn't pull any of it out of the bowl like he did with this brand either. I also have trouble keeping my other cat out of it, too, even though I feed them separately. If I let the other cat near the bowl of Royal Canin at all, she tries to grab some even if she just ate her own food. She didn't have any interest at all in this brand of hydrolyzed food either.I just brought him back to the vet again, have only been giving him the Royal Canin for about a week, so not soon enough to see any changes. He was 15lbs when the vet told me to try hydrolyzed food, now he's about 12 after the two bags of this brand of hydrolyzed food. Now he's actually eating, so hopefully he gains the weight back and stops pulling his fur out.
