Air fryer Basket 8.19 inch Compatible for Instant Vortex,Air Fryer Accessories for COSORI,Mesh Basket

I purchased a drawer-style Gourmia air fryer from Costco, and while I really like it, removing small food items from the drawer, such as French fries or tater tots, is a challenge. This basket makes it easy to lift items out of the air fryer. It’s fits my Gourmia air fryer with room to spare.I’ve read the comments complaining that the handles tend to slip out of their holes. Just remove the handles, spread the ends apart to create more tension, and re-insert them into the holes. They stay in place just fine.I do recommend getting some silicone oven rack shields that you can cut to length and slip onto the handles.

Works great but the handles keep falling off.

The basket fits in the Cosori 6qt. TurboBlaze with just under half inch of room on either side. As others have noted, the handles came off (immediately when I lifted it out of its own box). But I read in a review from "TJM" that they flared out the handles so when you inserted the handles back into the holes, the arms had more tension and stayed in place (Thanks!).Because the basket is slightly smaller than the drawer, it will slide and bang the sides if you shake the drawer with the basket in it. I placed a silicone mesh sheet underneath the basket to protect the non-stick tray from getting scratched while still keeping the air flow through the bottom. TJM also suggested adding silicone oven rack protectors to the handles. I'm going to try this and see if it buffers the side banging. Also, these type of baskets should be cleaned soon after each use. The type of wire and the pattern tend to be like glue to food and oil caught in the diamond-shaped corners.Overall, the metal is very thin but you don't lose much capacity and it keeps food from falling through, so the cost is worth it. With just some minor add-ons you can protect your original non-stick parts that interact with it.

I tried one of the vinyl air fryer "slings" to make it easier to get food out of my Ninja Foodie because the handles to the air fryer part are deep inside the machine and hard to grab. I also use paper liners to make cleanup easier. The vinyl thing was HOT and didn't hold the food without spilling something when I lifted it out because of the uneven weight of the food in the sling. And, the vinyl softened from the heat making it unexpectedly floppy.So -- this is obviously solid. The handles are easy to grab with an Ove Glove or other grabber. And, no spilling. My keeper

The bent ends of the handle that fit into the holes the the basket are too short. As a result, sometimes when you pick up the basket it detaches from the handle and falls, spilling the food inside. Great concept, poorly built.

I'm so happy I purchased this I place the air fryer paper under it and cook my fries in it as well as chicken.
