Due to a bariatric procedure I received years ago I ended up with a severe copper deficiency that I could not get in check with supplements. I would have to go in every 2-3 months and get infusions of copper and even then my levels were just outside of acceptable range. I even ended up having to get a port. I finally decided to supplement using these pills because my wife did some research. I have now been able to dodge 2 infusion sessions because my levels are not only in acceptable range, but have improved since my last blood test without any infusions in between.My only advice would be to make sure you know what you are doing. Too much copper in your system can be extremely toxic. If I can absorb it this easily then a person with a normal digestive tract could easily absorb much more.

Small round blue pills, easy to swallow. Seems like a stupid thing to say, but I do have trouble with some pills.

4 stars instead of 5 only because of the deceptive packaging. The front of the bottle says 8 mgs but on the back in TINY font there are two columns with the data for one pill and two pills and, you guessed it, one pill is 4 mgs. I was taking this for a few months when someone pointed that out to med and was very upset to find out I was NOT doing a high-dose copper protocol like I thought I was AND my pills were now going to go down way faster as I used double the amount I had been using. But what I DO really like about these is that the tablets are TINY and slippery and easy to swallow if you have any trouble swallowing pills or have a narrow espophagus. This product is also the ONLY tablet I have seen that comes in a dosage above 3 mgs., so there's that.
