Works! as advertised
Once coupled to your GARMIN DESCENT Mk 3i it works like a charm: open the valve and apply pressure to your 1st stage regulator and u get all the info and „goodies“! Easy, simple, reliable, not to say fantastic! Expensive tool, though, however if u love scuba and can afford such a unique hobby it’s worth every penny, imho!!!

Essential Safety and Seamless Integration for Advanced Divers
I’ve been using the Garmin Descent T2 Transceiver on my dives, and it has been a game changer. It seamlessly connects to my Garmin Descent Mk3i dive watch, providing real-time tank pressure, air time, and air consumption rate, which significantly enhances my situational awareness. While the pod is easy to install, I recommend using a short 6-inch HP hose for easier attachment, especially if your octopus rig is a bit tight, as the pod can be too wide for direct connection in some setups. The ability to pair multiple transceivers is an excellent safety feature, allowing me to monitor my dive buddies’ air levels when I’m guiding less experienced divers. The wireless communication is reliable even at 30 meters, and the preformatted diver-to-diver messaging adds an extra layer of convenience. Though it’s a bit pricey, the peace of mind it provides underwater is well worth the investment.

Disappointed
The is supposed to be the new top of the line transmitter, but on my first dive trip after 3 days of diving it kept loosing connection “no coms”. Disappointing and retuned this item.
